In terms of origin, Judaism religion rose as a result of Hebrew monotheism whereas Christianity came in as a result of historical processes after a preacher named Jesus who travelled across the lands of Judea and Galilee preaching and performing wonders. Jesus, who is a Jew by birth, should supposedly have been a Jew but he is the one who started Christianity. There are some observations that Jesus made changes to practices in synagogues of Jews who belonged to Judaism. Both Christians and Judaists believe in the Bible. However, Judaists believe in the Old Testament section of the Bible and that only Jews have access to God. Christians, on the other hand, believe in both Old and New Testament of the Bible; they also believe that Judaism is since they rejected Jesus. Christianity attracts many people due to its religious practices. Christianity was simple to understand and follow; this made it favorable to expand easily to other parts. Judaism, on the other hand, seems mysterious as it is characterized by the practice of religious rites and associated cults. It also appears to be restricted only to Jews. Christianity has recognized a place of woman in the society as a woman is regarded as part of the religion and can have a place above a man. In Judaism, there is little or no place for a woman since the religion is male-dominated. Christianity also promotes communism and accepts all people with equality whereas Judaism is more reserved, slaves cannot be accepted to participate in religion. Besides, joining Judaism requires a person to go through cult or rites practices in order to be accepted into the religion. (Cole & Symes, 2014)
Judaism and Christianity grew far apart because their religious practices are different.\. Judaism decreased had to adapt to the fall of the Roman temple while Christians nourished and grew in number. Judaists believe that they belong to Israel, a holy nation of God. However, Christian disagrees, they believe that God rejected Judaists when they rejected Jesus and now, therefore, Christians form the new Israel. Earlier on, Judaism was a recognized religion and Jews had protection due to citizenship in the Roman Empire. On the other hand, Christianity was a religion which started and as a result, it prone to suspicions in many areas since women and slaves were treated indifferently and they could hold official positions. As time went by, Christianity became recognized because the Roman Empire was vast and they embraced different cultures, religions and ethnicities. This situation was also favorable for expansion of Christianity. At the rise of Constantine, a Roman Emperor, Christianity benefited quite a lot. Christian symbols could now be displayed in Rome as it had been illegal earlier on. Christianity became a favored religion but Judaism lost if the value in the Roman Empire.

Christianity grew and had no teachings except for few letters of St. Paul and as a result, I led to study of Christianity and Christian philosophy which arose as a result of Jesus equality to God. In Judaism and Islam religions, there is nothing such as philosophy. And hierarchy in Christianity was introduced during the reign of Constantine which resulted in a new attitude towards women in the society. Women were not included in the church hierarchy and were no longer regarded in the church; these practices still exist in Catholic churches where women cannot be given a responsibility to be in charge of a church. This is similar to Islam practices because women do not position in the religion and are not regarded. In Islam, Muslim men are highly regarded and are treated equally. People who wished to join the religion had the alternative of Ulama, those who were highly learned and the Faqir, those who were silent. The position of women was also undermined just like Christians at the time legalization of Christianity in the Roman Empire.
The Islamic religion has expanded as a result of trading and they are successful since all men were given equal opportunities to trade. The growth of the trade led to the establishment of Islam religion. They were also known to be great architects. Christianity has expanded mostly due to its religious practices which were simple and pleasing and attracted curiosity. It also expanded as a result of missionary work. Christianity influence was stressed on Roman Empire whereas Islam was more interested in the Persian Empire. Its establishment in Persia allowed Arabs penetrated to southern Russia and Africa as they traded. They also learned the art of papermaking and literacy which contributed to overall Muslim civilization. Christianity has accepted anyone into the religion which favored its expansion though they did not tolerate Judaism. Muslim religion had tolerance for the Jewish and Christian sect and that allowed its spread to Iran and Egypt where it got established. Muslims use the Quran as their religious book while Christians use the Bible.
Women initially were not recognized at the time Christianity became legal. However, the establishment of monasticism became a powerful tool for promoting equality between men and women which led to the rise of women into authority. It also fostered conversion to Christianity as it resulted in better living standards. In Islam, women were regarded as property; Muslim religion allows a man to have up to four wives thus women had to be safeguarded as property due to intense competition. (Cole & Symes, 2014). However, the position of woman in society has changed due to civilization and modern education which values the importance of women.
