Peapod was created by two brothers- Andrew and Thomas in order to make the livelihood of people more convenient. Therefore, the aim of the grocery is to create space for people to effectively locate nutritious products, shop, use coupons from the manufacturer, and also maximize profits. Besides, the grocery should incorporate a receipt section that consolidates up items which have been obtained recently (Cagliano et al. 2017). When families are ever occupied, unfavorable weather, constraints in transport, the grocery will be a suitable alternative attributable to persuade their shopping experience. Also, patients particularly those handling surgery and cancer will discover refuge in this grocery since it helps them acquire good diet. This is on account of, given the way that at the time of their disease, they are under exhaustion, appetite and weight loss, they may think that it's tiresome to go physically to the grocery to find all the necessities required for their wellbeing. Therefore, Peapod's objective and mission is to give proper support required by all individuals so as they may achieve a quality life.

Further, as Peapod is highly recognized with a custom of giving the best home delivery benefits, the grocery should incorporate in their system an in- calculate Code driven portable shopping options. Also, the company should introduce pick- ups to ferry their products to Chicago as it is a preferential place to start- up the business. The declaration by the grocery concerning the starting of more virtual stores in New York, Washington, New Jersey, Boston, and Chicago should be implemented as it will increase customer numbers and also the profits. With the virtual grocery that is to be introduced, pictures of items should be shown on LCD screens with QR Codes beneath. Consequently, the individuals who shop online in peapod basically will need to check the QR codes of the things the need using their cell phones (Smartphone). In this case, all the items in the virtual shopping baskets should be delivered to the client's homes at their convenient time; this will manage the hustle of walking up to the stores to pick the required things. Therefore, by adhering to the recommendations in this scorecard, the projection of the grocery sales will increase as the number of clients will also increase.

Additionally, the management should make Peapod.com a place where clients are offered services, and store for client’s food in all regional markets. Here, customers will have the capacity to check the histories of products the same way as, on the web, the history of the items should also reflect their transactions for the previous periods. The grocery site should also present items in a manner they are found in the local stores. Hence, with these choices available to them, they clients will have a choice of printing a shopping list and go pick their items in the nearby grocery or they can also opt to shop online.

The IS System Recommended for the Management to Use for each Component in the Scorecard

The Management Information System to be used by Peapod should not include programming software, but rather an entire business set with addition resources put in place in order to accumulate all the essential data from the strategic or utilitarian system. Hence, the presentation of information is then delivered in an easy to understand and timely way with the goal that it can be used by the mid-level and upper-level levels in management. The point of this IS system is to guarantee that the firm will understand its key and strategic objectives (Son, Kim, Choi & Kim, 2017). For firms like Peapod should have an assortment of practical IS system. Some of these assortments should incorporate stock system, sales system, strategic systems, and so forth. The capacity of MIS to consolidate data from numerous sources helps the administration staffs to better disguise the commitments of their areas of expertise. By doing so, the firm management should be in a position to settle on reasonable decisions which can help with successful client service conveyance when they use the joined data, as such sales figures will be consolidated with the available stock (Zentes, Morschett & Schramm-Klein, 2017)

In conclusion, the prime function for the MIS is to help the management to easily make a follow up on issues and to accurately find answers or formulate questions to the issues that are presented. This issues and problems in the form of question and possible answer have a set obligation of relating to the strategic management’s key objectives. Therefore, in Peapod, a business director who utilizes desires by making a correlation between financial related systems and sales system is at a good position to weigh whether the organization's objectives will be met in both the short and the long- term.
