Accomplishing the set objectives in every organization requires perfect managerial knowledge, skills and abilities. Healthcare is one of the most vital field in social lives since it aims to ascertain the health of the people. As a health major and an aspiring health practitioner, I have realized that the application of knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) is necessary for the successful accomplishment of the set health objectives. Technological knowledge, managing diversity in the healthcare centers and teamwork are all very important KSAs that health care managers must possess to ensure successful healthcare management.

Managing diversity in the healthcare center is a necessary skill that a healthcare manager must adopt. Different ideologies and skills from different people of various origins has contributed to the increased diversity at the workplace (Stowe et al., 2010). In view of this, managers must apply skills that would aid them in managing diversity and realization of the cohesion in the organization. Establishing inclusive policies and practices, conducting training on the matter diversity are the approaches that a skillful manager must use to show inclusivity and appreciation of everybody regardless of the difference in race and color. Also, I have realized communication is key in an organization harboring people from diverse origins. A manager must use the communication skills to promote unity and appreciation of everybody in a health organization (Stowe et al., 2010). Application of the mentioned skills in managing diversity is a necessary skill that contributes to the perfect provision of healthcare and other transactions in the healthcare organization.

Technological knowledge is vital in the healthcare organizations. The society is advancing regarding the application of technology to ascertain the smooth transitions and performance of activities. The introduction of eHealth through electronic health records and online health information contributes to the need for the acquisition of technological knowledge by the manager (Saarela et al., 2018). Successful management must adapt to any transitions in modern societies. Technology is such a trend that everybody is applying in their daily services in the organization. Ease of access to health information, treatment plans, and procedures is mainly possible through an application of technology. I have realized from the scholarly sources that a manager must be technologically oriented to survive in a technologically sophisticated world. Also, a manager must apply his knowledge to train other employees in the health industry on perfect ways for application of technology and the ethical issues that inaccurate use of the innovation impact on the organization and the people in general (Saarela et al., 2018). A manager who uses technological knowledge in the managerial process is bound to succeed.

Successful application of teamwork is an ability that a healthcare managers must adopt. Effective care coordination requires a manager who can lead a large group of people, intelligently and amicably. Healthcare organization mostly deals with teamwork to achieve the objectives of health (Rosen et al., 2018). For instance, surgical aspects, virtual teams, teams managing chronic areas and the trauma team also show the need for adoption of perfect teamwork. A manager who cannot guide a team of professionals is bound to fail in his or her quest to realize the effective provision of services. The act of strengthening an understanding of the teamwork processes and the teams contribute to perfection in an organization (Rosen et al., 2018). A healthcare manager must, therefore, strive to promote unity in a team and motivate them through constant communication. An ability to manage a team, therefore, leads to the perfect and achievement of objectives in an organization.

John Hopkins hospital managers have successfully applied Community Health Partnership as a teamwork procedure that improves health coordination in the community. The East Baltimore residents mostly receive health care at John Hopkins hospital, contributing to the challenges of serving the high population in this area ( Berkowitz et al., 2018) . Seeking a solution to this issue has led to the introduction of the Community Health Partnership to improve health coordination in this hospital. The community care intervention introduced by the managers in this healthcare organization has led to perfect outcomes. The acute care department has benefitted residents due to the reduced costs of care witnessed. The intervention also led to increased visits to hospitals and Emergency Department ( Berkowitz et al., 2018) . Since the team prompted community awareness, the situation contributed to the increased number of people seeking medication. The inclusion of all people in a community in the treatment program shows the aspect of teamwork that healthcare managers revere. The intervention should be a platform for the state and other healthcare organizations for the introduction of community intervention programs through teamwork. A perfect outcome that such an intervention realizes explains its importance in healthcare organizations.

Application of knowledge, skills and abilities by healthcare managers is therefore vital. The skills of managing diversity, technological knowledge and teamwork are examples of the necessary factors that provide the competence of a manager or an administrator. The factors contribute to perfect health provisions and other managerial services such as cohesion and communication. Surgical, chronic management and virtual teams in healthcare organizations are vital. The impeccable management procedures applied in these teams lead to perfect health and organization outcomes. John Hopkins hospital is an example of an organization that has applied for teamwork through its managers and administrators. The community health intervention program it has applied has placed it among the most elite hospitals in the United States of America. Proper application of knowledge, skills and abilities contribute to achievements of the set objectives in the healthcare organizations.
