The success of an organization or business depends a lot on management and leadership. With excellent leadership and management, the company is likely to meet the set goals because there is proper coordination between various departments or sectors within the company. In most cases, managers get into the managing position through appointment, unlike the leaders who emerge from the working group. The primary role of the managers is to guide other people towards achieving the set goals of the organization while leaders aim at anticipating change and setting the direction for the organization (Robbins & Coulter, 2002) . Teamwork is also vital in the organization and dictates how people interact with one another towards achieving common goals. Organizations have a group or team of people who work together and the difference between the two is that group comprises of two or more interdependent individuals working towards achieving specific goals while team consists of a number skilled people working towards achieving a common goal that holds them mutually accountable.

Understanding the individual creativity is also essential in the organization especially when carrying out changes because, with creative minds, people are likely to find solutions to the challenges they come across enabling success in the organization or business. Mental flexibility and the ability of an individual to link remote associations are among cognitive factors that are in connection to creative achievement in the organizations as well as in businesses. Organizations should also provide a pleasant environment by being flexible, adaptive, and innovative to enable the successful organizational change that meets the demands of the current dynamic world (James & Brian, 2008). The corporate culture and leadership are critical when undergoing a transformation in the organization.

The information in the readings is essential in helping people understand the role of leadership and management towards the success of the organization. Even though managers get the position through appointment leader seems to play a more critical role in ensuring that the organization undergo a successful change and help in generating solutions to problems in the organization. It is, therefore, vital to ensure that leaders take the forefront when it comes to changing the organization to match the changing world. Managers also have the role of influencing and directing other people towards meeting the set goals and objectives of the organization. It is therefore vital to ensure that the organization have reliable leaders and managers because they play a critical role in ensuring the success of business or organization. Enhancing teamwork in the organization is also important because it combines people having different levels of creativity as well as problem-solving capabilities, enabling the organization to sort out the emerging issues with ease (Thompson, 2003). Leaders should also be creative because creativity plays a vital role in ensuring that the organization undergoes successful transformation meeting the demands of the changing world.

Transformational leaders play a significant role in triggering innovations in the organizations as well as coordinating and aligning all the process for smooth operation in the organization (Rosing, Frese, & Bausch, 2011). Leaders have the understanding that for the organization to remain competitive, they should be creative and innovative for them to be sustainable. Creativity plays a critical role in bringing new ideas that are vital for the survival and sustainability of the organization and that is the reason to why all leaders have to be creative to ensure that the organization they are leading remains sustainable and competitive. Old ideas in the organization contribute to the obsolescence of the organization, but the new designs are critical because it entails new ways of doing things as well as practices that trigger innovation in the organization. Adopting and advancing in technology is also crucial when it comes to incorporating change into the organization. The leaders in the organization should also align their innovation to the ever-changing world for them to maintain their competitive advantage.
