Carrying out a change in an organization is a complex process that demands good leadership and proper management that integrate all the agents of change to achieve a successful transition. Poor leadership or management in the organization has been the primary reason why organizations fail in conducting a change (Kotter, 1995). The individuals and the organization should be ready to accept the change and should be willing to devote their resources towards affecting the move to make it successful. The leaders also have a critical role in enabling a change in the organization; therefore, the leader of the organization should ensure that there is proper coordination amongst the individuals in the organization because the success of the operation or change depends on them. For the organization to have a successful transformation, the leader or manager should ensure that all the systems in the organization are coordinating with one another effectively and work towards achieving the primary goal of making the change or development.
