Research has also shown that seven in ten African Americans and about one third of Whites accepted that African Americans are handled less fairly in their encounter with the police. About thirty percent of African American research conducted has shown blacks being discriminated against or being handled less fairly because of their race as compared with twenty percent their whites and Hispanics counterparts.
