Marxism is considered to be a section of political, social and even economic thoughts gotten from the writings of Karl Marx. According to my opinion, Marxist is correct and I agree with him on the thoughts of the workers becoming even poorer since they are poorly paid with something meant just to keep them alive (Grant, 2014). The fact that lack of jobs is on the rise leave the workers with no other option but to keep on working since the competition is high despite the low wages. This is proven today with the fact that unemployment is still on the rise and it's the one that has been dominating the streets nowadays (Grant, 2014). It is said that the unemployment in the European Union (EU) is on the rise especially over the 2 decades with a significant percentage of 2.4% in 1970 to 6% in 1980 and now the estimated percent is almost 12% at the present state. Most of the people today consider unemployment to be like cancer that is seriously gnawing at the bowels of our societies. These facts prove that the thoughts of Marx are still relevant and alive until today.

The wars and the killings evident in the societies was also a major factor that made the economy to be stagnant and worse. I totally agree with Marx and indeed the insecurity in the area made Europe be devastated and desperate. His thoughts are still alive and evident with the fact that the stagnation has caused an unmitigated economic and social calamity (Grant, 2014). For instance, there is an evident drop in the industrial production of an estimation of 40-45% in Russia. Just like what Marx thought, the economy of many countries is falling drastically and is still falling while on the other hand killings and deaths are still on the rise. A good example is Russia which is facing the highest death rate of about 20% which is equally equal to 360,000 deaths more in 1992 (Grant, 2014). This is also confirmed with Marx thought of communism on which the human goal to the society is now changing since the Christians and the Muslim religions have now diverted to different goals (McCarthy, 2005). The people are now killing in the name of religion claiming that they are inspired by their hopes.

I also conquer with the Marxist thought on the pro-communist propaganda by the journalists who had great determinations to see the communism also had great effects. This is confirmed when they started translating it into Chinese and thought that it suited them and one of the Chinese in Taiwan went to an extent of telling the fact that he has been converted into communism by the Chinese version of the book (McCarthy, 2005). He also stated that since then, he had always changed his mind. There was also another example that was evident when Walter Duranty who has since been denying the Ukrainian famine that took place in 1934. He denied and wrote what the journalists wanted and that saw him getting an award. All these facts point out that Marxist was right and his thoughts are now living in the present days and they have been mostly used by many scientists to explain most of the human developments of the society today. His thoughts have left many to believe that capitalist society is divided into 2 classes (McCarthy, 2005). Most of the thoughts are now appealing to many of the people today. The fact that unemployment was considered to be a thing of the past is now evident in most of the people today. It has again reappeared and is now causing most of the nightmares experienced today like poverty, wars, and even epidemics.
