DAV is a non-profit organization that supports veterans and family members of all generations and helps more than 1 million veterans enhance their lives each year. Every year, the company offers over 600,000 trips to medical veterans and assists veterans with over 200,000 applications for benefits. It is also a pioneer in linking veterans with good-paying jobs, organizing trade fairs, and offering support to make their contributions possible to participate in the American Dream.

The critical message of DAV is to provide veterans of all generations and their families with lifetime care. DAV can support veterans who may not have been aware of or encountered problems before approaching the agency with a wide variety of issues ("DAV.org - Disabled American Veterans Charity," 2020). The website of the DAV has a main page section that documents various problems and tries to educate people. It also tracks all cases handled by apparent recipients' testimonies. The DAV does this because of the lack of services available to veterans who have encountered challenges in the past.

The DAV seeks to encourage care for veterans and also for the families of veterans. They do that by reforming veterans and their families' attitude if the veteran does not know the available resources. The website has the number of veterans that the organization has supported and other statistics for support. They also encourage veterans' donations: that means that people who donate to the DAV do not need to be veterans only but people who want to help these forgotten heroes and share in their aftermath shortcomings. It mainly works if a person has a family of veterans or probably deceased veteran-these categories of individuals are the majority of donors, from statistics.

The message from the DAV to the American people is essential because it is excellent advertizing in their chapters and divisions, auxiliary groups, and departments. Since DAV Magazine attracts more submissions than one might expect to print in each issue, the publishers have created guidelines so that the information chosen for publications is better served to the subscribers. The data is also screened and must be valid and from a credible source before publishing (UMGC CH.91, 2009). From the guidelines established, there is some content that the site cannot print. Articles endorsing or opposing elected service candidates-Recall that DAV is non-partisan. Reports promoting the goods or services of businesses or issues not officially acknowledged and endorsed otherwise by the DAV.

The DAV utilizes technology to assist a broad range of the public in supporting their services. The campaigns are published through ads, promotional events, donation advertisements, and charitable opportunities. In comparison to many entities, the DAV places great focus on promoting the veterans and the members who wish to call in support of the telephone lines.

The DAV website features many excellent posts and information for veterans to use for up-to-date information. This is closely associated with the technician lay theory, with a practical viewpoint that contributes to public relations (UMGC CH.77, 2009). Most publicity is reportedly being controlled by the DAV's events and funded by other organizations to improve their interactions. DAV empowers our nation and their families' heroes by contributing to the support they need and making sure that our government keeps its promises.
