A t-test, also known as the student's t-test compares two means of averages and tells an individual if they are different or similar to one another. It also highlights how significant the difference is. Medical surveys in most cases are used to create the understanding of the patient reality and outcomes and collect critical health-related data and information ( De Winter, 2013). In our case study, we are going to focus on the issue if cannabis has any medicinal importance when it comes to clinical therapy. Many people know marijuana for its adverse effects on human life, but to some extent, cannabis is significant in the processes of clinical therapy. The study is going to be conducted using a t-test method of examination wherein the long run we will be able to see the difference between the benefits and effects of cannabis on human life. Some of the medical advantages that are attributed to marijuana are; helps one to reduce vomiting, reduce on nausea that is induced on chemotherapy levels, alleviates neuropathic pain and significantly aids in the improvement of the sclerosis spasticity processes in hospitals. The study will involve two groups, that is, one that thinks that cannabis is a drug with adverse effects on human life and the other that believes that cannabis is to some point important on medical grounds.
The first step we need to come up with a well-designed null hypothesis that the experiment is specifically designed to test. The second level will be to list all the data in both samples (sample one and two) or maybe both treatments that is on the adverse effects and the real benefits of cannabis. The next step will be to record all the numbers of replicates in both samples and treatments as they appear ( Good, 2013). C alculating the mean of the specific therapies and once the means from both samples are attained the next step will be to calculate the variance of the particular differences between the two means. The measure that follows will be to calculate the t-values using a unique formula. The t-test will show the difference occurring in the two variables. The main reason of the study is to identify to what extent are the adverse effects of cannabis and to what level or degree is the medicinal significance of marijuana in clinical therapy.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
There are only two subjects in this matter, and they revolve around cannabis. One of the issues dictates that cannabis is not a useful drug for its use has adverse effects on human life whereas the other subject is on the defense of cannabis as it supports it for its medicinal importance and significance. There are two variables, the dependent, and the independent variable. The dependent variable is the difference between in mean of the related groups that believe that cannabis has effects on human life. The independent variable is the difference between the means of the different groups that is the group that considers cannabis has an impact on human life and the team that believes that marijuana has medicinal significance in the clinical therapy.
On the reporting of the results, the first thing I will do is to run up a test type and use procedure where in my report I will highlight the specific analysis I used (t-test), the main reason why I used the review and most important the specifics my study decided to test. I would emphasize the significance and bold differences between the two situations. I will make sure that the results are reported in a simple language that all the people understand. Avoiding intimidating and complicated expressions will ensure that people get and understand the message better.
The ANOVA Test is a way of finding out if the particular results of a test are important or significant. In other terms, the test helps you to determine if you are going to reject the whole test of null hypothesis test or accept the alternate hypothesis conducted ( González and Gil, 2012). The primary thing is the testing of groups to see if there is any difference between them. The subjects are the two groups with different ideologies concerning cannabis, either on the effects or the medicinal importance.
The dependent variable in the ANOVA test is the number of cannabis consumed on a daily basis on different perceptions either as a drug or as a medical ailment to assist in the clinical therapy processes. The independent variable is the specific group of people who hold the different ideologies regarding cannabis. The results in the first place are supposed to be written in a simple language that people understand the most. The means from both the one way and two-way ANOVA test, are reported so that the difference could be noted explicitly. Out of the methods of the ANOVA test, the P value is determined to identify the length in the differences. The difference is referenced in words so that people can distinguish the difference more easily. The redesigning could only occur when we decide to run two types of ANOVA Tests on the same case study. The two types are the one-way ANOVA Test and the two-way ANOVA Test. The intensive interviews involved in this category is what will help in achieving the repeated measures and the ANCOVA type of studies because they are specific interviews that are aimed at fact-finding.
