Builds Muscle Strength

Yoga helps in the building of the muscles. When muscles feel relaxed, they can actively utilize food eaten to convert them to muscle. The relaxation of muscles is significantly achieved through the practicing of yoga. Diseases such as arthritis and back pains are as a result of muscle strenuous within our body. Therefore, when one enrolls in a yoga class, it helps to check on such illness since the muscle is well built in conjunction with the flexibility. Research according to (McCall, 2007) hitting the gym can only build your muscle, but then it will be at the expense of your flexibility. Yoga, therefore, caters for both muscle building as well as flexibility.

Posture Perfection

According to (McCall, 2007), the weight of your head is heavy and can cause strenuous to the neck and back muscles from actively supporting it. At times, it can cause the muscles of the neck and the back to start painting. Yoga, in this case, helps in straightening of the inward body curves to bring about proper posture. When one forward-lean and feels a bit of back and neck pain, more often than not, it does not come out of fatigue. However, the pain is as a result of improper posture that is within our body. Yoga helps to flex the muscle and thus to cause the spine to straighten up causing proper posture. Sometimes, the body of person might seem hunched over even when the person is standing straight. This is as a result of consistent improper body position, and the spine starts forming curving shapes within as person. Thus, yoga will help in the straightening of this inward curves to bring about proper body posture in a person.

Cartilage and Joint Breakdown Prevention

The body cartilage and joints need to work on their full range of motion. Thus for them to function properly, cartilages need to squeeze out conventional fluids and be able to soak in a new joint fluid. This helps to check on arthritis or mitigate a disability. For the “squeeze and soaking” to work out for the body joints and cartilages, yoga practices are best for this. With yoga, the joints can function properly, and the cartilages work on their full motion. Yoga, therefore, plays a significant role in the proper functioning of body joints as well as well full swing motion of the body cartilages. (“American Osteopathic Association”, 2016).

Increases Blood Flow

Yoga stimulates the pumping of the heart. The blood flows smoothly throughout the body muscles since the muscles of the body are already relaxed by yoga exercises. Yoga has many strenuous activities that require a constant stream of oxygenated blood to the muscles to function properly. Inverted exercises such as headstand, handstand and shoulder stand encourages the venous movement of blood from the legs and pelvic and back to the heart. This type of yoga exercise consistently checks on the movement of blood throughout the body. When one has swollen feet or kidney problems, yoga practices can be the best way to check for such illness. Yoga helps to boost the levels of hemoglobin and red blood cells. These substances are essential for the transportation of oxygenated blood.

Betters Heart Rates

When the heart is regularly exposed to the anaerobic range, the risks of diseases such as heart attacks become minimal. Moreover, this can also relieve body depression. When one decides to take yoga classes regularly, this helps in the increase of body exposure of the heart to the aerobic range. With this exposure, the cardiovascular level is improved that’s proper functioning of the heart rates. Studies according to (McCall, 2007), yoga practices greatly help in lowering the resting rate of the heartbeat, it also increases endurance and most importantly helps in improving the speed of oxygen intake into the body.

Conclusion

The advantages that come with yoga practices are essential to the general health of a person. Yoga has more advantages to being exhausted. Therefore, yoga does help not a little.
