The Millennium Falcon was used during the war as a weapon and a means of vehicle to move around the space. The ship looked like it was worn out, but, beneath it was full of bombshells. It was commonly used during the Galactic Civil War. In the Battle of Endor, Ralsius Paldora, the Imperial turncoat realized that every 2.2 of the 300 Stormtroopers knew about the existence of the Falcon. The modifications made on the ship, including the hyperdrive engine, made it among the fastest in the entire galaxy. The changes enabled it to outrun Imperial Star Destroyers.

Afterward, Han Solo joined the Rebels during the Battle of Yavin. Millennium Falcon was used in the war, where it sneaked up and fired on Darth Vader’s TIE advanced, thus, allowing the Death Star to be destroyed when Luke Skywalker fired the proton torpedo. Lando took command of the Falcon when Han was captured in Bespin. He flew it into the Death Star II, in the Battle of Endor, and destroyed it from within as he looked for Han. Afterward, thieves were able to steal the ship from Solo. However, in 34 ABY, it was found in a remote world in the Western Reaches.

The Millennium Falcon aided in achieving the narrative arc since it participated in the wars. It helped the Rebels to fight the evil Empire. The rebels succeeded in several battles against the empire using this spaceship. It mainly helped in the destruction of the Death Star II. Han Solo, who was the pilot of the ship, was well known as a smuggler. The ship helped him in his smuggling activities since it contained sensor-proof smuggling partitions. Han Solo with his friend Chewbacca was hired to smuggle Alderaan. They ended up boasting that the ship could make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.

The Millennium Falcon also helps Han Solo to be portrayed as an essential figure in the Rebel Alliance by assisting him in the succession of the galactic governments. In the movie, there was a time when the Empire stroked back at the Rebels. They attacked the Echo Base with a squad of Imperial TIE fighters. However, Han, Chewie, Leia, and C-3PO boarded the Millennium Falcon and flew through an asteroid field and managed a narrow escape from the attack. Also, Hans Solo is being portrayed as a good pilot with the Millennium Falcon. He used to drive at higher speeds, twisting and flipping the ship through the stars at high speeds. He was favored by the ship’s maneuverability and also his piloting skills.

Therefore, it is evident that the Millennium Falcon plays a significant role in the narrative arc of the movie. It is involved in the major scenes of the film. Furthermore, the ship greatly assists in the development of the traits of some of the key characters, such as Hans Solo. It is vividly used to explain the characteristics of the pilots involved with it.
