A good life is defined by being happy and feeling good about oneself. The aim of most people around the world is to be happy. The deistic aspect of this concept claims that there is an existence of a supreme God, who created and ordered the world. Therefore, God watches over all human beings who are on earth. God wants people to live in harmony and He is interested in good people making their way to heaven when they die. In the society, people should be encouraged to live according to the doctrines contained in the bible. Through this, it will be possible to eradicate certain social problems experienced in the society today.

Currently in the society, children are willing to uphold their faith traditions. The behaviour of children has changed and the words they are using when they are asked to do certain chores is wanting. For example, children prefer using the word “whatever” when they are asked to do something either by apparent or someone in authority. In such cases, moralistic therapeutic deism can be considered as an accurate reflection of the society today.
