Communication 

Communication is vital in public health. As an intern, most of my work involved communication; thus, it was necessary to possess great communication skills (Sentell et al., 2020). It helps in the presentation of actionable, relevant, credible, and understandable information. I used presentations in public addresses to support the information that I presented. Additionally, I ensured that the presentations delivered the most appropriate public health content. 

Evidence-Based Approach 

I used PowerPoint presenting data from credible organizations like the CDC and WHO, which acted as evidence to encourage behavioral change. Furthermore, I used the presentations to answer various health questions and to educate the public. Also, the presentations were an invaluable tool in showing the trends and changes according to the recent information acquired from the ministry of health. 

Need Assessment and Program Evaluation Questionnaire 

Planning and Management to Promote Health 

To understand the community's views regarding the public health programs implemented during my internship, I developed an evaluation questionnaire. The respondents were required to provide their views on the current program(s) and suggest other programs to benefit the community. Therefore, it would be easy to know their needs with the community's views and help devise population-based interventions, projects, programs, and policies. Furthermore, the questionnaire will help identify the community's chronic ailments, which will facilitate screening to identify the asymptomatic conditions and community members with unrecognized medical conditions. Thus implementing community-focused population-based practices and advocate for change in community behaviors, practices, attitudes, and norms will be easier. Furthermore, the questionnaire can be used to evaluate public health programs. 

Data Analysis Tables 

Planning and Management 

I used data analysis tables to help research more on the posed questions. Furthermore, the tables helped show community health threats, thus facilitating screening for distinct medical conditions. Furthermore, the tables helped inform change in community-based practices.
