I read through the articles because of a few reasons. One of them is the ease of retrieving information. From the explicit abstracts found before introducing some articles, it is possible to have a glimpse of what the entire article is about. This is unlike the books or web articles without this indispensable section. Most importantly, a majority of articles present researched data and information that one can easily comprehend. Besides the articles, I browsed through the books and web pages and. My main aim of looking into the content of some of the sources in other sets other than the articles was to find the sources that I can use to get credible information in the shortest time possible. It was also crucial that I get a thorough understanding of the facts discussed and possible biases.
For the articles in the set, I skimmed and scanned through all of them to get a rough idea about how informative each of them was. After scanning and skimming, I searched keywords to see how each of them was used and the sentences they appeared in. After the above few undertakings, I extensively read through the articles. It was much easier to comprehend the information given that I had a general overview of what they entail before doing a thorough reading.
