Critical Question Author is addressing

The critical question that the author is addressing is the challenge that is facing the human resource management team. It is vital to understand that human resource management faces the challenge of either working with crowd workers who exposes a company to better efficiency and skills or working with employees who are employed permanently and have to be physically available at the workplace.

Most Critical Information in the Article

The most critical information in this article is that based on IBM's prediction, only a quarter of their employees will remain in employment as they seek to source labor worldwide in a bid to increase their overall efficiency and quality.

Main point of view in the article

The main point of view presented in this article is relationships between employees and employers may be vital in ensuring that a company meets its obligations. Having a better relationship with the crowd workers ensures that one is readily available at any given time and would strive to meet the company's goals and objectives (Conrad & Pekrhul, 2018). However, the higher-ranked jobs would need more trusting and cannot be delegated to crowd workers before ensuring that there is a mutual trust created between the different parties.

Key Concept in the Article

The key concept we need to understand in this article is how promoting crowd workers will go a long way toward improving the efficiency of various companies. With crowd working, companies will be better placed due to the following advantages. With crowdsourcing, it would be easier to gain solutions to tougher problems within the company. This would be made possible as open jobs would ideally attract more competent people who will be up for the job. With crowdsourcing, there would be fewer problems in terms of the workers that the company will have to deal with in the long run. Physical labor and workers being reduced will put a company in a better position to transact and a lesser burden to the human resource management team.

Main conclusion in the Article

The main conclusions in the article are that the human resource management team should strive to promote the crowd workers' commitment to both their jobs and employers. This can be done by ensuring that at all times, the company aims at increasing its bonds with their employees. Once an employee feels that he is part of a given company, he will always strive to ensure that he works towards the company's goals and objectives. With commitment, the employees will be better placed to understand and integrate with them the company's cultural systems, tasks, projects, and virtual communities, among many other aspects that constitute the company.
