This paper examines the objectives and questions to fill a position for the People & Culture (HR) administrator for Securiguard Services. 

Objectives, Review of Job Description and Key Information 

The main objective of the interview is to assess the qualifications of the applicant and determine whether they would fit into the organization. The first objective is to verify the accuracy and quality of information obtained from the application. The second objective is to observe the behavioral aspects of the interviewee such as communication skills, confidence, and other personality factors. Doing this will develop a good understanding of the candidate’s qualifications and obtain additional information regarding the candidate’s skills. The third objective of the interview is to provide necessary facts to the candidate about the job description and the organization. The fourth objective is to develop a mutual understanding between candidates and the company to create a good image.

The essential duties are administration, creating reports, recruitment support, and HR metrics. HR metrics entails managing employees, dealing with employee concerns, and handling visitors. Managing uniforms entails taking requests, sorting uniforms, and conducting an inventory count. The educational requirement is a minimum high school diploma. A post-secondary degree or diploma would be an advantage. The role would also require experience in HR, administration, and the security industry is considered an asset.

I have experience in human resource by managing recruitment, employee needs, and coordinating guest activities. I have also performed administrative tasks such as organization students as a teaching assistant and planning and executing social media campaigns. 

What did you like about the job description? 

The job description was well-written as it gave me a full idea of the roles and responsibilities required. I liked the fact that the duties involve handling both administrative and human resource activities. I want to have the chance to further my experience in both of these roles.
