Online education was not as popular until the rise of the COVID19 virus, leading to movement restrictions (Adam, 2020). As people could not meet physically and learners could not attend school, many operations were fully moved online. The reason is that children had to learn, firms had to remain operational as well people working. Online education, in particular, became quite popular as many learning institutions started tutoring online. Initially, there were questions on whether online education has the same quality as in-class education. Online education is with no doubt as good as, if not better, than in-class education. It is proved that online education is as good since it offers students focused learning opportunities, which helps enhance education across all age groups. Surveys show that learners more likely understand a subject easily if tutored, focusing on guidance and tuition. In most cases, the learner doesn't need to read the entire subject content to understand a concept. Through online learning, students have focused on specific areas of a subject that needs improvement. Digital technology and internet availability have facilitated online education and gotten approval from learners and scholars.

Every day, more people are enrolling in e-courses and learning at the comfort of their homes, especially now that there is COVID 19 virus, as Adam (2020) notes. Online education has benefits over classroom education that clears the doubts about the quality of online education. Over time, more people are enrolling in online education, indicating high patterns of its growth. A significant percentage of Americans can access the internet. Babson College, an institution focused on online education, suggests that over 6.7 million learners were enrolled in online classes over time. Online education does not look at a learner's age group, but people of different ages can attend online lectures. The rise is also due to the working class who'd like to advance their studies enrolling for the classes. It is efficient as an employee can attend a class even when they get home from work at work or in the evening. Each day, people are gaining the confidence in online learning indicated by the numbers enrolling for it.

Online education assists people in many ways. Some jobs are transferable from time to time, forcing the parents to move to new places. It leads to a leaner education being affected as they keep moving from school to school. In such cases, online education is a perfect option as they do not have to keep on changing schools, which affects a student's performance. Also, some kids have medical conditions. As a result, they can't attend classes regularly; online classes will help them learn comfortably at home or the hospital without being left behind. Online learning also accommodates adult students. Most online courses provide guidelines and calendars similar to those of regular classroom learning in most universities. Writing assignments are involved, and even some learning universities on their websites facilitate online exams. As a result, learners find online learning is even better than in-class learning. On the online learning websites, learning materials such as audios, books, lecture videos of different courses reduce the geographical restrictions. Therefore, it is unnecessary to attend lectures or any time constraints as learning materials can be accessed at any time in any part of the world.

Even though online education has its shortcomings when compared to in-class learning, its advantages outdo in-class learning. One of the best benefits of online education is its affordability. Online education is way cheaper as compared to in-class education. Online learning offers quality education and simultaneously affordable as compared to classroom learning. For example, a course being offered for 100,000 dollars on an in-class basis reduces by 75% on online learning costing around 25,000 dollars (Jack, 2020). Online courses also take a shorter period than in-class learning as a lot can be learned in a day. Online learning enables flexibility and convenience in learning. Classroom education requires a student to be in the class regardless of the prevailing situations. Since online does not have age limits, learners can study according to their schedules. A student can focus on other things such as getting a job or performing assigned tasks at work; they learn in their free time, an advantage that cannot be enjoyed in classroom learning. Additionally, there are tutors available at any time; thus, one can learn at any time, making it just as excellent as in-class learning.

Sun (2016) argues that online learning facilitates installing a sense of responsibility within them as they learn at their luxury. It is straightforward for a learner to get distracted and not attend an online lecture. For example, teenagers studying online at home are most likely to get distracted by video games and not submit an assignment on time or not attend a lecture. Online learning enables the learners to develop responsible behavior without being supervised since they know they'll have to pass the exam at the end of the day. Online learning, as compared to in-class learning, have curriculums that are more updated. In-class curriculums are updated less regularly as compared to online learning, which is updated more frequently. More focus is put on skill improvement in online learning. It is easier to identify a leaners weakness and provide ways that can be used to improve every tutor as a professional at what they teach. Regular campus learning requires students to focus on all subjects regardless of whether a learner needs them or not, while in online learning, a learner chooses the subjects in regard to their needs.

Regular campus learning is facing fierce competition from online learning as it is becoming better every day. People are gaining more confidence with online learning as graduate students perform tremendously well in the job market. Previously, there have been many questions trying to understand whether online learning matches classroom learning quality. To some extent, online learning is even outdoing in-class learning as it is way cheaper, takes less time to complete the course, and flexible for everyone. People prefer online classes as they can attend them at any time of the day without attending an institution physically. The curriculum in online education is updated regularly to meet the proper standards of education. It is there only right that online learning, if not better, matches the quality of in-class learning.
