The current mission statement for the EZ-Pleeze is appropriate to its industry of operation in the sense that it aims at working towards the realization of a business environment that is characterized by the provision of high-quality products as well as services exceptional services to the customers. Such a mission is critical when it comes to the revolutionizing the industry and the market concerned with the supply of chicken and beef products. Furthermore, the mission statement of this company points to its commitment toward the achievement of performance quality as well as the safety and well-being of people associated with it (Desmidt, 2015). Creativity and innovation have a crucial role to play towards the attainment of the mission put forwards by EZ-Pleeze especially in the achievement of consistent profitability. The mission and organizational culture of the EZ-Pleeze is inculcated and advanced by its leadership. This company has a team of senior executive leaders who are regarded as audiences when it comes to the presentation of strategic plans. This team of senior executives includes the Chief of Operations, the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Marketing, the Director of Research and Development as well as the Direct of Manufacturing and Production.

The strategic team at EZ-Pleeze comprises of executive leaders namely the Chief of Operations, the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Marketing, the Director of Research and Development as well as the Direct of Manufacturing and Production. 

Internal and External Influences 

Internal influences on the strategic decision-making process at EZ-Pleeze 

A number of internal factors usually influences the processes of strategic decision-making at EZ-Pleeze. One of these influences is the employees of the company where the strategic planning and management team considers them in every strategic decision made in the best interest of the company. The employees at EZ-Pleeze have a significant role to play in influencing and determining the direction taken by the company regarding profitability and the overall success. For this reason, the strategic team at EZ-Pleeze ensures that it prioritizes the well-being of its employees by providing health and wellness programs with the aim of enhancing their performance and productivity. Besides, the company has an organizational culture that presents its employees with professional growth and development opportunities. The other internal influences on the strategic decision-making processes undertaken at EZ-Pleeze are creativity and innovation. In this respect, the strategic planning substantially depends upon the role played by creativity and innovation to stay on top of its competitors in the business environment dealing with the production of chicken and beef with the United States and globally. Other crucial factors influencing the internal environment concerning the strategic decisions made by this company include investment in new technology to boost its operations and services delivery as well as financial stability (Bantel, 2014).

Externally, many factors are responsible for determining the direction taken by the strategic decision-making process at EZ-Pleeze. One of such influences is the nature of competition presented to the company by its major competitors such as Yellow Down Foods and Beefchix industries. In this regard, the company's strategic team focuses its efforts towards the introduction and implementation of plans that can counter the competitive aspects of the Yellow Down Foods and Beefchix industries in the business environment. When it comes to planning and preparations of the strategies that are aimed at elevating the company at one of the top players in the market, the decisions made by the strategic team at EZ-Pleeze have to focus on capitalizing on its competitive edges and opportunities that are externally available (Ardiyanto, 2016). 

The other external influence on the process of making strategic decisions at this company is market demand for its products which are chicken and beef. Before making any strategic decision associated with profitability and financial stability for the company the strategic management team considers the existing market demand for its products as well as other prevailing market forces such as the supply of raw materials and availability of workforce (Bantel, 2014). Changing customer preferences, changes in government policies and regulations, as well as changes in the technologies used by EZ-Pleeze, are other factors that have a significant role to play in determining the manner in which the strategic decision-making processes happen at EZ-Pleeze.

The current strategic plan to use technology also plays a crucial role towards retaining the old customers and attracting new customers by enhancing customer care and service delivery to its customer. Plans to make more investments in advanced technologies is advantageous to the companies since it increases the efficiency and reliability of its operations thus growing its profitability while reducing wastages. The other advantage of the current strategic plan by this company is its ability to ensure that its competitive edges are increased and made stronger for it to compete more effectively against its major competitors who include Yellow Down Foods and Beefchix industries (Lagarda-Leyva, Castaneda-Rodriguez & Soto-Fierro, 2016). 

Disadvantages of the current strategic plan at EZ-Pleeze 

Many disadvantages can be associated with the current strategic plan at EZ-Pleeze. One of them is the heavy financial burden that comes with the implementation and maintenance of the advance and sophisticated technologies. A strategic plan that is based on the incorporation of advanced technology to be implemented requires a company that has a robust financial management system. In that regard, the current strategic plan formulated by this company may experience financial constraints in the long-run thereby making it more expensive to sustain especially when the prevailing market conditions are unfavorable. The other disadvantage of this strategic plan is that its implementation and continuous improvement requires additional expertise and more skilled workforce which will come at a higher cost for the company (Ardiyanto, 2016).
