The Federalist No. 10 is regarded as one of the most important essays on ratification of the United States Constitution. The article mainly addresses the question of how to reconcile American people with interests contrary to the rights of others or the interests of the community ( Adair, 2017 ). Their idea was to make the Congress more accountable to the voters and present the interest of the minority groups in the society. However, the current legislative congress has become more partisan rather than performing the tasks the citizens voted them in to undertake. The framers had a better idea of how the government should work and had the best intention of representing all the groups in the society mainly the minority one ( Adair, 2017 ). Through a system of checks and balances, the framers believed that those who administer government departments would have the necessary powers, constitutional means, and personal motives in order to resist encroachments of the others.
