The Federalist No. 10 is regarded as one of the most important essays on ratification of the United States Constitution. The article mainly addresses the question of how to reconcile American people with interests contrary to the rights of others or the interests of the community ( Adair, 2017 ). Primarily, the article the Federalist No. 10 by indicates that founding fathers and the constitutional framers did not have the intention of the American politics becoming partisan ( Diamond, 2017 ). Moreover, the farmers opted for a political system that harnessed faction for good and preserving liberty while at the same time ensuring good government instead of adopting the repressive cure for the faction that the majority of the people are endorsing.

The framers would not be happy about the current level of partisanship in Congress as it has caused a lot of divisions in the society. Further, the current partisan has failed to protect the minority people in the community and the most vulnerable. In their mind, the framers of the constitution envisioned a political system that would be more cooperation among the legislators ( Adair, 2017 ). Their idea was to make the Congress more accountable to the voters and present the interest of the minority groups in the society. However, the current legislative congress has become more partisan rather than performing the tasks the citizens voted them in to undertake. The framers had a better idea of how the government should work and had the best intention of representing all the groups in the society mainly the minority one ( Adair, 2017 ). Through a system of checks and balances, the framers believed that those who administer government departments would have the necessary powers, constitutional means, and personal motives in order to resist encroachments of the others.
