The digital media helps to promote marketing, promote online image, and earn a significant amount of traffic (Griffey, 2019). Blogging serves as a huge public relations asset when used by the company to address important aspects that focus towards the achievement of the set goals and objectives. Social media plays a significant role in enabling a company to reach out to the target market, which helps in creating a large customer base. The digital assets play a significant role in exposing a company on online platforms, which is a significant measure that promotes online research. Lastly, social media monitoring enables a company to get alerts through the utilization of different digital tools that may include Google alerts and twitter, among others, that promote the brand name of a company.
Digital media plays a significant role in enhancing humanitarian efforts and international awareness by promoting effective collaboration and networking. An example using digital media for collaboration and networking efforts involved the use of social media to get information relating to the earthquake that took place in Haiti in 2010. During this time, the Haitians living in Miami used different kinds of digital media to get information regarding the earthquake. Crucial information about the earthquake was passed to people using different social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. When focusing on diverse global audiences, it is necessary to focus on evaluating digital media's value when engaging in different kind of communication. Digital media in communication such as social media helps promote interactions considering the provision of a platform that supports social engagement and interaction thus enhancing business operations (Bygdås, Clegg, & Hagen, 2019). In that case, digital media has a significant value in communication as it helps to deal with different kinds of diversities that results from dealing with a diverse audience. The ability to deal with a diverse audience is a significant cross-cultural impact of the digital media.

In terms of career goal accomplishment, it is necessary to focus on the support system and the available resources. In this case, my support system and resources would include scholarly resources, professional communities, mentors, and role models. In goal planning, professional communities help in the provision of support and information in any industry. The provision of mentorship, advice, and support in business plays a significant role in promoting business connections, which is a significant aspect of meeting people with similar interests (Greco & Kraimer, 2020). Having a role model and a mentor is an important aspect that promotes the achievement of goals and objectives. My choice for a role model would be Daryl Acumen, who is a senior product manager in Adobe. Daryl has a wide range of experience in business administration and engages in different efforts to ensure that he achieves his set goals and objectives. The rationale for selecting the mentor is based on the level of ambition that he has and his efforts to achieve personal goals and objectives.
Another significant aspect of consideration entails having academic resources and professional groups that play a significant role in goal achievements. Some of the academic resources include Virtual Learning Resources Center, google books, google scholar, iSeek, and Microsoft academic. On the other hand, the professional groups include The American Communication Association, The Association for women in communications, and the Public Relations Society of America. The selection of academic resources and professional groups is based on the benefits that relate to the provision of mentorship and support regarding academic performance (Dashefsky, Sheskin, & Weathers, 2019). Building connections with individuals from the groups helps to promote an individual’s ability to perform in any given industry and achieve the set goals and objectives.
