The primary purpose of educational leadership is to improve the quality of education and educational systems. To initiate significant changes, the community and key stakeholders should participate effectively and share their views on how educational leadership should be run. Educational leaders should also identify values, norms, and standards that stakeholders should use to accomplish set goals ( Bogotch et al., 2019) . An excellent educational leadership system should positively impact all stakeholders and the community regardless of their support and contribution towards setting educational leadership goals. Effective leadership is vital because it ensures that all activities are done efficiently, even if a leader quit the position or is out of the office for other duties.

The future of the educational system predominantly depends on the quality of education that students receive. Initiation of changes that promote learners' participation in educational leadership is the best philosophy that educational leaders should adopt to improve education quality ( Bogotch et al., 2019) . Leaders should use transformational leadership to promote a shared sense of reason with followers to promote efficient engagement. A transformational leadership theory is essential in educational leadership because it will enable leaders to work collectively with key stakeholders to identify needed changes and create visions to guide those changes through inspiration. Therefore, educational leaders need to encourage using this theory to assist in achieving academic goals and objectives.

Additionally, educational leaders should effectively listen to their followers rather than respond to their opinions without adequately understanding their views or concerns. The effectiveness of educational leadership depends on how leaders respond to various situations. Students and stakeholders support leaders who listen patiently to students before responding to achieve their goals ( Bush et al., 2019) . Conversely, educational leaders who listen less and without applying logical reasoning face difficulties to convince students, the community, and academic stakeholders to believe in their leadership methods. Consequently, most such leaders fail to improve the quality of education provided to students.

Leadership Practice

Educational leadership requires various qualities, competencies, and skills to improve education quality. Effective communication is one of the most crucial aspects that educational leaders should possess. Effective communication encompasses various activities such as listening, understanding, and reasoning before responding to followers' concerns ( Bush et al., 2019) . Effective communication is essential because it helps in relationship building, trust, and a better understanding of one another among education key stakeholders leading to excellent collaboration and cooperation in the education sector. Therefore, educational leaders should develop shared goals and visions by communicating effectively with key stakeholders and students to achieve set goals. Through communication, educational leaders can build workable consensus to identify possible ways of improving education quality.

Creating an enabling working environment is another crucial leadership practice that educational leaders should encourage. For educational leaders to achieve their goals to improve education quality, they should create a conducive working environment that correlates with education purposes, vision, and missions ( Bush et al., 2019) . Educational leaders can create an enabling work environment by encouraging teamwork between teachers and students to promote knowledge and ideas sharing. Also, educational leaders should encourage students' and stakeholders' engagements. Since most stakeholders in the education sector come from different fields of study, they can bring a vast pool of knowledge and concepts to improve education quality and educational systems.

Confidence and professionalism are other essential leadership practices that educational leaders should show to their followers. Followers believe in their leaders' ideas and concepts if they are confident and have professional knowledge in their areas of expertise. The education sector is a sensitive industry that requires competent leaders who have vast experience to respond effectively to learners' questions and concerns about specific problems ( Bush et al., 2019) . Competent educational leaders know how to approach and react to various situations through engaging key stakeholders and the community to improve education quality.

Relationships

Encouraging long-lasting relationships is very vital in educational leadership. Good educational leaders should know how to develop and maintain good relationships with students, stakeholders, and the community. Good relationships in education sectors encourage teamwork, proper coordination, and collaboration among stakeholders, students, teachers, and their leaders. Therefore, relationship building is essential to all stakeholders in the education section because it creates an enabling working environment vital in the education sector.

The leading role of followers (students) is to strictly comply with rules, guidelines, and professional codes of conduct. To improve education quality, leaders always develop guidelines that students should follow to enhance their leadership skills ( Niesche & Gowlett, 2019) . Besides, leaders should develop applicable policies that boost relationships with students. In most instances, students are frightened of strict rules which limit their interactions with their teachers. When educational regulations and guidelines are too strict, many students rarely engage with educational leaders and their teachers. Subsequently, this will worsen the relationships between educational stakeholders hence affect service delivery. Respect is an essential factor that should be critically observed by both leaders and students. It promotes effective coordination and collaboration of stakeholders, thus improving service delivery in the education sector. To promote good relationships between students and their leaders, respect should prevail in both directions. Students should respect their leaders' actions and decisions. Similarly, educational leaders should respect students' opinions and respond to their concerns appropriately to improve education services quality.

Diversity

Diversity plays a significant role in improving the quality of services offered in different sectors worldwide. Similarly, educational leaders need to explore various options to enhance the quality of education. They should use other learning methods, such as online learning, to improve service delivery efficiency ( Sarid, 2020) . Also, educational leaders should break various barriers such as cultural differences, age discrimination, ethnic background balkanization, and gender and religious differences to enhance corporation in the education sector.

The attitudinal factor is a crucial issue in diversity that should be addressed to facilitate the smooth running of educational activities. Educational leaders should effectively handle such issues to eliminate their adverse effects on educational leadership to improve education quality.

Conclusion

In summary, educational leadership involves a series of activities that educational leaders should critically observe to improve education quality. Educational leaders need to develop and maintain effective strategies that can enhance the quality of education services. To achieve set goals by educational leaders, students should strictly comply with set guidelines and rules to promote efficient service delivery.
