Hard work pays, and when individuals showcase aspects of hard work, they will later enjoy the fruits of their labor. Hence, it was a concept that I was continually applying when dealing with the virtual simulation experience. The first aspect to note is that the virtual simulation experiences had various topics that needed learners to be focused on their actions and achieve growth in handling the issues. The virtual simulation had multiple problems like cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal discussions, musculoskeletal, and neurology. These are topics with great information that are shared with the learners to understand the human body functions and challenges that individual’s face from these problems (Jarvis, 2015). The complexity of the issues gave me the experience of working hard in-class training to get the right information and understand these concepts to avoid any confusion. Therefore, without a doubt, hard work pays. I can attest to the fact that I successfully internalized ideas from these topics through the hard work that I employed in my reading perspective.
In the virtual simulation, I was also focused on effective communication and teamwork skills. I credit on these skills as part of the driving force that made me succeed in the experience and achieve success. Teamwork skills were used in discussing the topics that were challenging when undertaking the virtual experience. Moreover, teamwork was instrumental in discussing Chest Pain examination, neurology, cardiovascular, and abdominal concept labs. I learned that the importance of collaboration is to challenge our minds about the contents of the units (Forbes & Watt, 2015). During the group discussions, there was a plan acting as a guiding principle to ensure all the learners took part in the conversation. A topic was assigned to two students, and they would extensively read and discuss concepts in the subject to other learners. I often enjoyed the teamwork practices because it made everyone to be an active participant and ensured that each learner grasps the concept.

Communication skills were applied in both the teamwork practices as well as in classroom environments. I valued communication skills during the virtual simulation undertaking because it connected me with the other scholars and the instructors while disseminating the contents of the virtual experience. Whenever I faced challenges, I would seek the instructor's guidance, who would show me the right pathway to follow and explain in detail the information that was being disseminated by the instructor (Jarvis, 2015). Practical communication skills allow for the elimination of doubt and an improvement in content understanding. It was as exciting to undertake the virtual simulation because support was accorded deeply, and information shared accordingly in the process.
There were challenges that I encountered during the virtual simulation experience. The first challenge is the procrastination of assignments that were provided in the virtual simulation. Each individual was continuously provided with an appointment, but I often did my jobs late, which affected my grades in the long run. However, through a lengthy discussion with the instructor on the importance of completing the tasks, I managed to understand how working on the assigned topics early gave me time to do adequate research without hindrances. The challenges experienced in the virtual simulation were a building block for understanding my weaknesses and working on these weaknesses adequately. I will use these experiences in my professional career when working in healthcare organizations. First, I will ensure that I create a strong team with the workers to build trust and support each other in handling healthcare issues. I believe that in handling these issues effectively, I will become a professional in healthcare institutions and develop leadership skills. I will also advocate for other employees in future to embrace these skills.
