Once the qualitative data from the research has been gathered, it shall be grouped while referring to the objective question that it responds to so as to minimize the occurrence of repetition of the data. Dividing the data into different sections will also make it easy to review the data during the time of analysis (MSG, N.d.). Points under each research question will be aligned in a bulleted list to make the work appear less complex during review. I will personally do the transcription of the data so as to eliminate the need of having to recheck the work for any errors. Analysis of the data using computer-assisted data analysis is effective since it enables a researcher to easily draw conclusions from the research by providing predictions. The tool also helps to manage interpretations and evaluations drawn from the data and also ensures that sorting and structuring of the data is made faster, easier and more accurate (MAXQDA, N.d.). By generating indexes, the software is a great tool for exploring and understanding the different patterns that may exist in the data, such as the impact of the program on the youth and how challenges hindering the success of the program ultimately affects them. Such coherency will make it easier for conclusions and recommendations to be drawn from the data.

Immersion of a researcher into data can be done through monitoring the whole research process to ensure that only relevant data is included in the data. The researcher is also required to review the data after compilation to ensure that it is valid and can be used by other researchers. Immersion also requires that the researcher understand the process of data analysis to ensure that the data is of high quality and that any erroneous data has been omitted. Including metadata will also help to improve the quality of data by providing insight into the data.

When writing an analytic memo, I will be sure to include various observations such as why certain people do not support the youth program being provided within their area of residence and shall include key interviews that will be useful for analysis of all collected data. In this case, the interviewees shall be the youth program leaders, alongside some of the youth that would have participated in the program. Reflections from these interviews will help with data analysis and also in terms of telling a narrative of the research.

Disconfirming evidence will be obtained upon analysis of the data acquired to invalidate my conclusion (Rowlands, N.d.). This will be clear once I compile all the data obtained from the research and come up with a theory on how effective youth programs are to the youth and community in general. This will ensure that the research does not have any inconsistencies and contradictions.

Engaging a peer research group will ensure that I get different opinions to help reduce researcher bias during data compilation (Noble and Smith, 2015). This will help to ensure that neutrality in the research and help to gauge th truth value of the research based on the comparisons that will be drawn by the peer research team.

The techniques of analysis that I will employ here, after having successfully compiled the collected data, will pay close reference to the ground analytic steps as per the research design. This will entail the establishment of themes from the views of the people obtained during the interviews and from the observations made during the research since these were the methodologies that were employed in the research (Dunne, 2011). Grounded theory will ensure that I am able to trace any opposing views that may have arisen and find clarity in areas where the data appears to be vague. From the results of the data, I will come up with a narrative on how the youth programs are beneficial, and why people within the region support the course, since no theory can be established from the results.

To ensure the credibility of my research, I will account for any biased opinion within the analysis by stating any observations that may have resulted in the biased opinion. The interpretation of the data will however be consistent with the observations, which will also allow for transparency. Consultation with members of my peer research team will help to find any similarities and differences within the data, and to help present different perspectives in the research in order to increase the truth value of the research (Noble and Smith, 2015).

I will seek IRB approval and follow procedures pertaining to human interviews by ensuring that only those who comply willingly are interviewed. With respect to the body of ethical considerations that would come in handy here, special vulnerabilities may arise in the event that the researcher develops empathy towards the study group and becomes engaged in trying to fix the problem rather than in research. Other instances include mistrust among the focus group resulting in provision of false responses. I will try to develop trust with members of the focus group to ensure that I obtain useful information. Since I am not assured of other members maintaining confidentiality, names of those interviewed will not be included. In the event that e-data is used, possible hazard may be the fact that the coding software may provide the wrong analysis (Welsh, 2002). Analysis by the software will be compared with the analysis I make to ensure that they are at par to avoid any inconsistencies.

An audit trail will be included in the research report so as provide a summary of the research project, also giving an in-depth understanding of what it would have entailed, while providing room for conceptualization of the data if necessary (Wolf, 2003). Matrix method will be used to make data reviewing easier when comparing notes from the interviews, observations and participation. This will make it easier for any themes to be identified in the interpretive study. The auditing will be done by my peer research team members and the audit trail will be placed in the final appendix, right before the references.
