Q. Compare the race relations under President Obama and President Donald Trump
Response
More than half of every U.S citizen has stated that the race relations during President Donald Trump’s time has been worse and it is now common for the citizens to talk racist talks since President Donald Trump came into office. Almost 3 out of every group of 5 states that race relations when he has been office are generally bad. 56% of the persons in the Pew Research Centers asserts that President Donald Trump has created worse scenarios for racist comments and ideologies. Roughly 65%, which represents two-thirds of Americans, say that the racist views since President Donald Trump took office are common.
On the other hand, 25% representing only one-fourth of the sample population considered President Obama’s race relations worse. President Obama had good race relations since his inauguration and that can be referred to as the New York Times/CBS News poll that was done in April 2009. During President Donald’s time, high profile shooting of people of color (non-white people) by the federal state’s police officers has been considered very negative as compared to President Obama’s time. Americans think that racist relations problems are attributed to President Donald Trump. Similar poor assessments on Donald Trump on racial minorities are also evident. A poll conducted by NORC Center found that 57% of U.S citizens regarded President Donald Trump a racist. It should be noted that no profound alterations in race relations during President Obama’s time were made as many Americans had hoped for. For instance, during President Obama’s time, few Americans stated that the local police displayed prejudice against black humans in America even though there were differences between opinions between the rural residents and the urban residents at the time on the matter.
