First goal: graduate with my bachelors in criminal justice
Criminal justice has been my longtime passion as a career since I started out as a grade school student interested in Sherlock homes detective stories and was the primary reason for me to pursue this course. Being a finalist in university, I aim to graduate with at least a second class score in the in the direction and stand a chance for employment in an established firm. Therefore, within six months, I intend to have graduated from the university and step out of campus to practice what I have learned. The deadline for achieving this goal is ten months from now to allow me enough time to prepare myself for job hunting psychologically. This goal will help me to attain the necessary qualifications to push through with my career.
Second goal: to purchase my first home
Being an early millennial, my need for independence necessitates that I own a home or start mortgage payments for one as a priority to avoid more losses on rent which give me no long-term returns on the money spent. For these reasons, developing a plan which includes figuring out how much I can afford to pay in installments for the home. Making improvements to my credit score to lower the monthly payments that will be required of me, build up an emergency fund and collect enough for a down payment and finally plan for the hidden costs ( Belsky 2013) . The realistic time frame for attaining this goal is 12 months in which I expect to have made headway on the collection of the down payments and significant reduction of my student loan to improve my credit score. It is crucial for me to plan for my future home because of the various benefits it offers including a gain in equity, the property and tax for the mortgage provides a tax deduction and finally it is the future home of my family providing relative security.

To find a career in my field/ want to work for FBI
Having chosen a career based on my passion in criminal justice, my career goal is to work for the federal bureau of investigation for the reason that it is the premier criminal justice enforcement organization in the country and therefore, offers the best opportunity for experience. The requirements for attaining this goal is to be a holder of bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in the country which I expect to have achieved in six months, gain some work experience, complete the FBI application process, and academy training to join the organization ( Vizzard 2006). I plan to accomplish this in 12 months' time after graduating and receiving my degree in criminal justice and gaining three months additional on the job experience that boosts my chances of being accepted into the bureau. It is essential that I attain this goal so that I may get my career in criminal justice off the ground and build my portfolio in the industry.
Managing Multiple Goals
Managing multiple goals is a skill that is sometimes needed to be mastered for the primary reason that one may have a variety of tasks that need to be done concurrently. It is not possible for a human being to exist in two places at once and for this reason, one needs to have a plan to manage apparently conflicting goals. This plan involves identifying the areas where the programs overlap and therefore the same effort can be applied to achieve them. Prioritizing and making the time to tackle pending problems and finally to avoid over planning that may result in a complicated schedule which may be discouraging.
