In many cases, organizations management suffer many problems in project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and entire management. This paper will examine two article pertaining project management software that demonstrates how project management software is used to plan, implement, control and report of a project. The writers of the article Project management: a systems approach to planning, scheduling, and controlling , argues that project management software is one of the major tool used in project management. The objective of the article was to show different techniques for developing a good management tool that can ease the task of management. Kerzner, H. and Kerzner, R. argues that indeed project management software solves many of management problems and gives management alternative. The writers assert that with proper project management software, the management has proper expectations with a good understanding of time limit of the process. They also affirm that each software should have a particular goal depending on the complexity of the objective (Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). They also argue that some while as having an alert when the process is over, setting an alert may take time than the project itself.

On the other hand, just like Kerzners, in international project management journal by Burke, the writer of an article Project management: planning and control techniques on software project management, Mr. Welsfeld argues that software really makes project management easier and they can be used to plan, implement, control, and report the project depending on how the software is developed. Welsfeld who is the vice president of product development has over seventeen years of experience in project management and development of software. He argues that depending on the development of software and the objectives that the software is intended, project management software is a very helpful tool. However, software management has some drawbacks too (Burke, 2013). For in case of software crackdown, the predicted results and time is interrupted and therefore cannot be relied fully upon. In addition, project management software requires checkups and maintenance.
Notably, both articles are academic written by an unbiased writer. The articles have the same idea that project management software is really a helpful tool in management. They also agree that the software solves many of management problems in planning, implementing, controlling, and reporting the project. Therefore, the two articles have the same agenda of project management software. However, Welsfeld argues that the software should not be relied on fully because sometimes they fail and therefore they require much maintenance.

Project management software helps the management in planning, scheduling, resource allocation and other problems in management. Kerzners argue that the management can rely on the software and it will give good expectations in result and time of completion of any process. On the other side, Welsfeld who has a vast experience in developing software and working in project management argues that project management software are not fully reliable because they sometimes experience problems and therefore they require more maintenance.
