Project management is crucial for any teams proper functioning including Army commands and battalions. Development of a credit card for him to be able to operate with and enable access to necessary resources such as vehicle fuel, tools and even toll pass payments were as a result all delayed for up to 5 months which is about half of the said mission time. The wait not only impacted the delay of necessary resources but also significantly impaired the readiness of the TAFT to carry out their duties.
Lack of effective project management skills and experience compromised TAFT’S mission and the readiness of the unit as highlighted by the NCOCCC thereby impacting a compromise and failure of the mission. The project Management initiative as such explicitly highlights the significance and necessity for adopting effective project management strategies for ultimate success in missions.
