WEEK 5
Question 1
Stimulus causes a sensation to people's reaction, and the impact created by the stimulus varies according to the psychological force for the person experiencing the stimulus. Most people have emotional responses that they made since their childhood, e.g., phobia and anxiety. By slowly providing repeated exposure to the elements in people that cause the conditioned emotional response, one can reduce the elements' level causing these responses. It is observed that stimuli do not depend on a mental or a physical event. Since the importance of a stimulus lies in its function, the repeated exposure will create a psychological adaptation to the different scenarios creating the response. People who experience such emotional responses will hence adapt to the new changes though the adaptation change may take a while to achieve.
WEEK 6
Question 1
Once people are faced with different problems, they always want to solve the challenges in the best way possible. In most instances, they apply the experience gained while solving similar situations in the past. However, when faced with unfamiliar challenges that they have never experienced before, they turn to the trial-and-error method to use their instincts to guess o the best approach or the best cause of action to take. They interrogate the challenge will all skills that they might have experienced and acquired in the past. Daily, people are confronted with new challenges and have to solve them by all means possible. Through trial and error, they learn the dos and don'ts of solving that challenge, and the learning equips them with the ability to solve another challenge that may arise in the future.

WEEK 7
Question 2
The use of the word "other" to refer to the minority groups is viewed as demeaning to the referenced group. It, therefore, creates more hatred as the group of minorities feels segregated and unrecognized or looked down at. Instead of creating the intended love, it goes a long way to intensify the hatred between the groups and make them feel divided from the community. It is more appealing to refer to the minority groups by their race instead of referring them to as "others" since it gives them a sense of identity and feels recognized. Maginarization of minority groups will not achieve the love aspect where people are supposed to co-exist peacefully with each other. To ensure that love prevails in a community, people must appreciate all groups, whether the majority or minority. They must address them with respect; they deserve to acquire respect from them.
