This essay aims to compare the top survey responses from class to the ones listed by Kaiser Family Foundation, explain the reason the health outcomes are low in the U.S despite spending heavily on it and compare and contrast the approaches to health promotion in Healthy People 2020 and the UN Goals for Sustainable Development.

According to Kaiser Family foundations, 67% of the respondents stated that amount paid for health care should be limited (Harkness & De Marco, 2016).This is the ranked as the first priority by Kaiser Family Foundations. This was the case in the survey that as our class peer survey response number of students agreed that lowering individual pay on health care is among the priorities for the president. 61% of the individuals stated that prescriptions of drugs should be lowered. This is the second top priority according to the Kaiser Family foundations. The review of class peer survey responses found the same trends with them stating that this should be the top priority for the administration (Dijulio, Kirzinger, Wu & Brodie, 2017).
Question #2 Review these two graphs: despite having one of the most expensive healthcare systems in the world-the U.S life expectancy and health outcomes are not the best. Identify one measure and analyze and discuss why this is the case-support your rationale with evidence
This is the case since American has healthcare system do not meet the health needs of its citizens. It is high expenditure brought about by the use of expensive medical technology and high prices for healthcare services and goods being higher than in other countries. People visit doctors less often compared to people from other countries and get hospitalized less, and hence Americans are paying more for what they do not use (Harkness & De Marco, 2016)
Question #3 compare and contrast the approaches to health promotion in Healthy People 2020 and the UN Goals for Sustainable Development
The Healthy People 2020 aims for longer lives and reduction in premature deaths and for people to live high-quality lives. It fosters for health equity and improves health outcomes for all groups. It further aims to create suitable environments for good health (Harkness & De Marco, 2016).Sustainable Development Goals were created by the UN in September 2015 to build on the success of the Millennium Development Goals. Its priorities majorly aim to end poverty, fight inequality, and handle issues regarding climate change (Harkness & De Marco, 2016).
Conclusion
Both the Kaiser Family foundations and class peer survey agreed that the two top priorities is the lowering individual pay and lowering of prescription drugs. The expensive medical technology is one of the factors attributed to the high cost of health care in America today. Both the Healthy people 2020 and the UN Goals for Sustainable Development aims to improve health outcome and improve and fight inequality and climate change among other issues respectively.
