In the contemporary society, public opinion is appreciated much since it shapes and poses a greater influence in both health care and policies in healthcare. Using the case of America, for instance, majority of Americans have learnt their healthcare rights and would want to voice their opinions directly to their elected and representative leaders. Their interest is not just to participate in empty politics but to actively champion the implementation of healthcare policies in their states. Statistics show that over the past five years, more than 20 million Americans have benefitted from health coverage, and enjoyed health insurance, meaning that they are protected with the newest and updated health insurance bodies (Sandro & Roger, 2018). But this does not mean that American citizens are fully satisfied with the whole health sector way of doing business. There are still many loopholes that need to be closed.
As a measure of gathering real-time opinions from the public, various researchers and research bodies in American have undertook a study on selected populations representing the whole population of America. The right sampling was done to ensure fairness and unbiasedness in selection of participants. 70% of the studies conducted show the way Americans express a highest degree of discontentment (Nurgul, Aitalieva & Sinyo, 2019). The percentage of Americans who feel that minor changes should be made are just but few. Majority opine that, though the American healthcare is composed of some good things, still there is room for fundamental changes to make the entire healthcare function optimally. Only a small percentage of less than 5% feel that the American healthcare is entirely wrong, and that needs to be rebuilt (Daniel, Philip & Alex, 2018).

On the basis of several studies and surveys that have been carried out, the government of Donald Trump is pressured with the need to act in favor of the public (Reuben & Patrick, 2018). That implies that Americans are, and will continue to lobby for the healthcare system to be re-shaped and be given a new face. A face that mark the new dawn, and a new relief from the distress that Americans have in the past suffered from.
