1.) What is meant by the "disparities of Blackness in a white space" ?

With the end of the civil rights movement, many black people have managed to occupy spaces in the previously occupied white people. The presence of black people in those places has brought the idea of white displacement of miscegenation. The whites feel that the people of color corrupt the white purity, especially with black governmental control and vengeance in the white space. The effects have created a source of white terror in the country by motivating white policy and violence (Blow, 2020). The struggles have also created cultural knowledge of the horrific events causing traumatization when blacks learn about another act of violence.

The availability of blacks in a white space has also prompted various police killings in the communities; the killings often emanate from destination cities, making those cities no longer feel safe. As a result of the numerous killing of young black men, there has been a high rate of black Americans presenting clinically significant signs and symptoms of mental conditions such as depressions and anxiety disorders (Blow, 2020). The killer claims that the young blacks are engaging in drug and violence criminal activities despite the weekly report from Washington that indicates that the whites engage in drug offenses at a higher rate than African-American.

2.) "And when a nigger gets close to mentioning sex with a white woman, he's tired of living," so said one of the men convicted of killing Emmett Till. What are some of the key points and examples Blow gives of the "long history of the defense of white femininity" as a bulwark for white supremacy in America?

There are many instances where black men have faced death due to claims of defending white women. The blacks are lynched and terrorized under the guise of defending white women. The act has made the country possess the power of activating white supremacy and thus spurring violence to the extreme. The white women merely feign victimhood by appearing afraid and affronted to muster and accuse the innocent black men. The white women have mastered how to activate white terror through woman's soft power (Blow, 2020). For instance, Dylann Storm Roof killed people in the church to claim that the black people were raping the white women and taking over the world. Roof committed the act because he was protecting the purity and restoring the sanctity of white femininity.

Jesse Washington is one example of a person who faced death following accusations of raping and murdering his employer's white wife. The accusation made him face convictions by the jury despite scant evidence during the hearings. He got dragged from the courtroom and then became brutally tortured, burnt, and murdered by a mob of 15-20 men and women. Another example of killing that happened because of defending white femininity is the Tulsa Riots of 1921 (Blow, 2020). After a 19 years old Black boy, the riots were indicated of battering a 17-year-old white lady while in the elevator. As a result, close to three hundred individuals got murdered, while eight thousand became homeless at the riot's end.

Another person who faced murder was a 14-year-old George Stinney Jr., who painfully suffered from electrocution in South Carolina. George Stinney was prosecuted for killing two white girls. The boy did not receive a fair hearing because he became tried within only one month. Furthermore, his defense lawyer did not call any witnesses, neither did the lawyer cross-examined anyone. Stinney was found guilty of the murder with ten minutes' deliberations by the jury.

The killing gives a clear indication of the plight of young black men in the country. Despite the revolutions, false accusations are still prevalent. A lot needs to be done to reduce and eliminate the racism problem in American society.
