Abstract
This document presents an overview of the article "A Critical Race Perspective of Police Shooting of Unarmed Black Males in the United States: Implications for Social Work" by Moore et al. (2018). This overview provides an in-depth understanding through a critical review of the racial profiling of black males by law enforcement in the United States. It concludes by providing ways through which racial profiling could be prevented in the future.

Overview of the Article
This article addresses the increasing rates and reality of racial profiling in the United States over the last couple of years. Mainly, the focus of this article involves highlighting racial profile killings black males who are often unarmed. Besides, the article tries to explain that people of various races in the United States ought to be accorded the same constitutional rights that are enjoyed by other American citizens (Moore et al., 2018) . In most cases, racial profiling by law enforcement agencies in the United States, such as the police, leads to the violation of the constitutional rights of the blacks.

The article also tries to highlight the different ways often used by law enforcement agencies in the United States are involved in the promotion of negative stereotypes against black males. This kind of stereotyping has continued to encourage an environment that finds it easier and more convenient to perpetuate extrajudicial killings of unarmed black people. According to this article, law enforcement agencies in the United States tend to justify their racial profiling and the extrajudicial killing of black males in America by labeling them as dangerous criminals. In this article, the theoretical concept of critical race theory (CRT) is utilized in providing critical analysis and understanding of the racism instances behind the social inequities and racial profiling against the black young people in the United States (Moore et al., 2018) .
Critical Response to Feelings on what Happened and to what Extent
It is noteworthy that the article does not provide a comprehensive evaluation of the scope of the damages caused by the racial profiling perpetrated by law enforces in the United States. I feel that this article, the law enforcement officers in the United States, need to be subjected to thorough training on the need to promote equality by preserving the well-being and dignity of human beings. This article goes to the extent of identifying social work as a role in society that would be expected to emphasize protecting the well-being and dignity of vulnerable people. The article could have done extra work in its analysis and explanation poof the need to have clear guidelines for discharging of duties and responsibilities by those working in the area of social justice profession.
Moreover, it would have been necessary for the article to put more emphasis on underscoring the importance of race-specific guidelines and regulatory measures in educating social workers and law enforcement officers. The theoretical concept of critical race theory (CRT) would have been more effective in analyzing and providing future predictions regarding the outcomes of continued social inequities and racial profiling of the most vulnerable groups in the United States (Moore et al., 2018) .
How this Could be Prevented in the Future
Prevention of the increasing trend of racial profiling by law enforcers in the United States over the last couple of years would call for integrated efforts from various governmental and non-governmental agencies. As such, it would be necessary for both the federal and regional governments to develop robust policies to guide the discharging of roles and duties in the area of social work practices. It is worth noting that such systems would play a critical role in eliminating the negative stereotypes that have been perpetrated against black makes in the United States. Besides, the government would be tasked with the responsibility of establishing regulatory measures that would prevent the devaluation and extrajudicial killing of the black people by the police and other law enforcers. Such a move would primarily lower the growing rates of racial proofing by law enforcement in the United States.
