Religion
Religion can be understood to mean a cultural system organized at various levels and practices, which has a defined goal of connecting the humans to the divine, supernatural, transcendental, or other spiritual elements. Therefore, religion must consist of the members or a member, a system of beliefs, a way of practicing and a hierarchy of beings whereby the being occupying the highest level is worshiped (Jensen, 2014). The adherents of the religious system do so by exercising faith in the ability of the divine being to help them attain both temporal and spiritual wellness. Faith is exercised by understanding and practicing the teachings of the religion as provided by written evidence or oral narratives.
Education
This refers to the act of gaining understanding or knowledge. A broader explanation considers education a system organized in a structure where there is the educator, one who educates, and the learner, and content taught in the system. The goal of the education system must be outlined whether it is to impute knowledge, skills, or ability to search new knowledge and skills. Therefore, a true education system must be able to grow as minds interact, and corrections are introduced into the established system. Just as the religion where matters of faith are handed down through generations, knowledge is passed down from generation to generation as it is tested, corrected, or maintained (Jackson, 2011). Therefore, the system must be self-sustaining and self-correcting. Finally, the education system must contain a method by which the learners are assessed to determine the effectiveness of the method used to deliver the content.
