This scene takes place in the great hall of Capulets. The servants who are working in this hall work hard to ensure everyone present tonight enjoys the night and the feast. Capulet walks around the room to make sure all the guests are served and encourage them to enjoy the night by dancing. As the events of the night continue, Romeo notices Juliet and inquiries from one of the service men who she is. Unfortunately this servant has no idea who Juliet is. Romeo gets fascinated and forgets everything about Rosalina. He then declares he had never been so much in love before, like he is feeling now. As the event continues, Tybalt hears and recognizes Romeos voice. His presence angers him since he is Montague, and so, he sends one of his servants to bring him his rapier. On hearing what Tybalt wants to do, Capulet stops him and confirms it to him that Romeo is a well-regarded person in Verona. He is able to convince Tybalt to keep his peace on Romeos presence. This is where Romeo decides to approach Juliet. In this scene, Shakespeare’s message is that love at first sight is real, (Shakespeare, 2003), Pg. 5.
The costume worn by Romeo and Juliet makes their appearance seem like that of royal kids. Their dressing is more of a modern party in this film. The music in this film is so important as it fitted very well with the story line. Slow music has been used for the Romantic scenes of Romeo and Juliet when they meet the toilet and this is very attracting for the audience. However, back in the hall the music is fast and loud for the party. As they engage in the conversation, very sweet slow music relevant to this scene is playing at the background creating a very love filled mood for the two and for the audience.

The costumes Romeo and Juliet are wearing set the mood for the two of them. They both look enticing and attractive. Juliet looks more beautiful and Romeo looks more handsome. Their costumes are a clear indication of the mood they are in, they are in love already. At first Sight! Romeo is wearing as a knight in shining amour, very basic without color. His appearance is like that of a prince. On the other hand, Juliet is dressed like an angel in a white gown with tiny wings at the back. This makes her look angelic as she is so young and pretty.
The scenery in which they first meet is through fish tank that is separating the toilets. Each of them is standing on either side of the tank and they stand there staring at each other. This means that love can just happen anywhere. Romeo talks to Juliet and she falls in love with him too. This purely true love. They have their first dialogue and Romeo talks about her in metaphors. He says that she teaches the torches how to burn brightly. A clear indication of how much in love he feels. When these two lovers first meet, they share a sonnet. In the film, this happens when the two are in a lift that separates the two from the rest of the party. It is like a poem they are composing describing each other in the sweetest words. Romeo appears as a pilgrim and Juliet as a saint and Romeo is worshipping her. The music in this scene is very slow and romantic.
