The main goal of the Russian revolution was to agitate for social equity and economic freedom in the country. At the beginning of the 20 th century, the Russian empire became undemocratic with a monarchy. The system oppressed of rights and liberties and persecution of persons on a religious basis. It repressed ethnic and civil organizations, whereas the royal family took control of the wealth of the nobles.
Industrial emergence led to wage-earning members of the population who were often illiterate and occupied several cities in Russia. The working population became very instrumental in bringing change. Oppression, coupled with poor working conditions, led to worker's participation in revolutionary processes. The choices and events which led to the success of the revolution in Russia were the extended periods of economic difficulty, political instability, and the system's oppression since the end of the 19 th century (Kirschenbaum, 2019). Challenges experienced during the revolution in Russia were harsh in the early years. After the regime had passed, the country struggled to save itself from the economic crisis. Russia's participation in the first world war and later a civil war brought hunger and depression of the economy. Russia lost a quarter of its fertile piece of land, a third of its population, and two-thirds of its coal minerals and oil.

Life in Russia during the revolution was difficult for every day- there was a significant violation of the rights and freedoms of people. Under the regime, the leadership took control of all sectors and undermined freedom of expression through the media. A citizen found utilizing the media was punished severely (Kirschenbaum, 2019). Children had to join communist groups that instilled in them communist ideologies. Also, it was hard to obtain a divorce during the time, and famine prevailed.
Lessons from the history of communism in Russia is to take hate seriously. Radical teachings that encourage social segregation and denial of freedom of speech is a crime. Suchtinstructionsspread when agitating the real challenges, but to the contrary, the results are severe for everyone. The other lesson is the need to keep pressing on despite the deceitful ethnic, racial, and religious leaders throughout the world. There's a need to reject people that propagate war among nations or based on faith.
