The article “ Mental health in the workplace: A call to action proceedings from the mental health in the workplace: Public health summit" by Goeztel et al., is found at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5891372/ . The article explores different methods that can be utilized in dealing with mental illness at the workplace. The article is relative to my topic because it offers a depth analysis of various measures that can be used in the workplace to handle mental illness. The article " How to manage your mental illness at work” by Eric Ravenscraft is found at https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/29/smarter-living/how-to-manage-mental-illness-at-work.html . The newspaper article explores some of the ways of handling mental illness at work by incorporating law methods. The article is relevant to my topic because it concentrates on mental illness at work and how to manage the condition.

The articles are similar because they offer measures of handling psychological problems at work. For instance, the journal article by Goeztel et al. suggests that recognition at the workplace is ideal for handling mental issues. Ravenscraft, too, suggests an accommodating work environment as one of the mental illness handling techniques. Despite their similarities in terms of topics and recommendations, critical differences are evident. The article by Goeztel et al. provides the credentials of all its authors, while the article by Ravenscraft does not provide the credentials of the authors. Furthermore, the article by Goeztel et al. has provided references suggesting where the authors have drawn their research and findings. Unlike the article by Goeztel et al., the article by Ravenscraft does not provide a reference page to show the authenticity of its recommendations.
