Professional burnout which is as a result of pathological syndrome it is highly characterized by prolonged stressing that resides within the mental status of an individual (Corey, 2012). In addition to the above statement, burnouts lead to a physical and emotional depression that results in maladaptive behaviors such as depersonalization and cynicism. 

In this manner, the phenomenon seems only to exist and reside within us before its symptoms are seen and broadcasted to the outside. Additionally, these conditions are only understood by the individuals only, showing minute symptoms to the individual. In this case, the individual seems to have control of the situation. However, this is quite seen clearly when the situation is highly advanced portraying all the necessary factors of consideration.

Ways to practice self-care 

According to American Psychiatric Association. (2000) , there is a need to consider healthcare means to ensure that you highly have a better and mental health capacity. In addition to the above, there are a couple of factors that ought to be considered to practice a self-care. To begin with, there is the need to identify activities that make an individual at his best. In this case, this can be attained through the physical exercising of an individual as well as encouraging of a healthy diet eating of an individual. Furthermore, this is also achieved through engaging in activities that an individual is willing and ready to undertake throughout the day (Corey, 2012). On the same token, humor can also play an essential part of self-care of an individual. In this manner, the strategies will help to socialize with the loved ones creating a source of joy and reducing the stress. 

Lastly, the use of noting critical events in the calendar will also help reduce the burnouts within an individual. According to, ( Corey, 2013 ) having a well-organized schedule of events that are well structured with proper recreation time included, is a great asset worth of consideration. A well-structured schedule helps to program the mentality on what to do at what time and not what to associate with. Furthermore, this gives a chance to the individual about what activities to participate in and what not to participate in.
