The present corporate institution does only give priority to the profit but also focuses on corporate governance and public relationship. The dynamic nature of business forces such companies not only to make a profit but also to create a situation where it gets appreciation from the public. As a result, there is a lot of consideration with regards to gender and minority group in the current institutions than in the past.
The society today looks into terms such as diversity with regards to how institutions treat the individual. Other than that, there are labor laws which also forces different institutions to become gender sensitive. These laws stipulate matters concerning gender ratios within various institutions. The institutions must adhere to such regulations for them to be on the right side of the rules and have maximum cooperation. However, there is a situation where gender matters are compromised within such institutions. For instance, most of the corporate institutions have male gender at the executive position with female dominating the lower area. Similarly, there has been a case where the compensation and promotion incline towards ale gender in such a case; there is gender equity that leads to gender discrimination. Though such cases are increasing and reports come every day concerning their case, the rate of gender discrimination is low in comparison to some centuries ago.
