Entry #1
I came from school and my friends requested me to join them in an exercise class. Although I was reluctant to join them, I had to give a try at least once. In the exercise class, we did various activities lifting weight being the main one. Additionally, I was involved in aerobic exercises. Felt like I was losing my body while sweating profoundly after the session.

On this day, my dream for the first day recurred but then it had something else. While I took part in the gym session, I was as well involved in a bicycle hike with my friends. The thing I remember is breathing heavily while riding a bicycle up hill.

The first thing I remember in this dream was walking down the staircase after school and met my mother who reminded me that my friends were waiting outside. At first, I told her that I was not expecting any friend but I then realized I had enrolled in a gym session earlier with friends. Most of the time I dream about going to the gym my sleep always ends with alarm clock waking me up for school.

I can remember my experience on these particular days as I dreamt on something continuous. On these nights, I was forced to go to high school where was expected to climb my way up to higher levels of learning. Despite the fact that I never liked school, my parents were forced to convince me to undertake my studies. Although my experience at school was tough, I worked hard and before I succeeded, I was always waked up by my mother to prepare myself for school.

During the last three days of my sleep journal, I happened to have experienced similar things altogether. I was in the woods with my friends whom we had gone for a hike. At one moment, we lost our way and never knew where we were. In the middle of the woods, a monster appeared and chased us helplessly. Luckily, my dreams for these days are always cut short by my alarm clock.
Reflection
In essence, college students like myself always put off sleep in preference of other activities such as studying all through the nights. Apparently, our body tends to follow a rather twenty-four-hour clock cycle known as the Circadian rhythm (Roberts, 2018). I often stay up all nights during the weekdays' something that makes it hard for me to focus in class. After almost lunchtime, I often become sleepy and, therefore, do not concentrate on the remaining evening classes. This tends to affect my body because it fails to give me energy but rather makes me crash earlier in the day.
The first three nights of my journal schedule was nothing similar to what I have been experiencing. In the dream, I was in an exercise class where I was lifting weights together with my friends. After this, I dreamt that I was walking on a cycling while going for a hike. Essentially, the dream was concurrent with my healthy life and I needed to improve it. For the past years, I have not been doing any exercise, therefore, gaining a lot of weight. The dream was just a reminder for me to check on my health issues (Roberts, 2018). Although this dream did not recur often, my wish is that I will start working out to avoid other health complications that may come along being overweight. Nonetheless, the fact that I was in the gym with my friends showcases that I should improve my social interactions with friends, something that I am poor at.
The next four nights that followed were fairly decent as I dreamt of being in a rather fairytale where I was forced to go back to school since it was mandatory in that dream. This dream was just a reminder of how successful I can be if I worked hard. Primarily, I only had a nightmare in the last three days of my sleeping journal since I had attended camping that was organized by my church. During the camp, we were in the woods where we were told scary stories. Throughout the weekend my dream patterns are always different given the fact that I usually go to bed late and fail to wake up until late afternoon. It was, therefore, hard for me to get used to waking up at specific times during this journal because I used to stay up late doing some homework or even study for a test in the coming weeks. This is basically one of the reasons why my dreams in recent times have not been normal. Notably, I have learned that my dreaming habits have had an impact on my life on a daily basis. In this light, I should try and get some enough sleep for my body to rest and avoid unnecessary stressors. My wish is never to skip dinner for homework in the future since my stomach tends to hurt in the morning. Additionally, this problem often makes me crash during the day due to lack of enough time to eat and therefore leading to a declining level of production.
Primarily, the impact that dreams have on our social behaviors is undeniable. Looking at how my life has been, it is no doubt that there have to be some changes that would lead to a rather healthy psychological as well as physical lifestyle (Weinstein, Campbell, & Vansteenkiste, 2018). The insight of the dream reminds me that I have to up my social interaction with friends as well as families unlike before. I as well intend to improve my physical behaviors by enrolling in a gym to at least try and lose some weight. Moreover, despite the fact that my goals are to work hard and excel in the academics, I will try and balance between sleep and reading to ensure that I get enough sleep and as well eat on time before I retire to bed.
