Agency Advocacy

According to the class discussion, as a social worker, I prefer agency advocacy. In agency advocacy, there is some legislation, for example, the insurance legislation in Washington. So as to address the issues pending on taxation, the Washington Legislature should tackle two significant parts of the Supreme Court’s 2012 McClearly decision; to finance state requirements for central education, by reducing the use of district schools restricted property-tax levies and ensured that K-12 costs of education are funded which includes teacher salaries, all-day kindergarten, reducing the class size and transportation for students by 2018 (IIABW, 2016) . It is an advantage to the society because students will get a better education. There is the need of raising new revenues of tax so as to meet the target that the state McCleary is looking forward to achieving.
