Subject: Vacation Policy Changes
This is to inform you that several changes have been made on the company’s vocational policies in tandem with the new regulations. After a keen analysis of the several factors, the organization decided to base its vacation policy on the length of service provided by the employee. Employees with a three year or less of service will have a one week paid vacation. Those with a service of between three and five years will be subjected to a two-week payable vacation. Three full weeks of paid vacation will only be offered to the employees who have more than five years of service. Therefore, the company encourages all workers to be cognizant of their stipulated duration while making the application.
All members are therefore requested, in accordance with the new regulations, to submit the vacation request at least one month prior to the vacation date. This is important because it will give the relevant authorities to make necessary preparations that will ensure that the entire process becomes a success. All the requests to this effect are required to be directed to the supervisor. It is also of essence that all employees to know that not more than two employees in any single department can be on vacation at the same time. Adherence to this will ensure that no department will be paralyzed due to the shortage of staff.
