An individual's personality identity is not spontaneous; it develops over time and can evolve from one personality identity to another ( Noonan, 2019) . In my context, my personality identity development has been a journey that can be traced back to when I was in my elementary-level education. Life events, experiences, and people contributed much to an individual's personality identity development ( Olson, 2016) . Today, I stand bold as a leader and a teacher who is out to inspire and encourage others to live to their fullest potential, strive for greatness, and ultimately attain the best in themselves. I am committed to excellence and provide advice and guidance to all my students and the community. As an individual by personality, I am caring, accessible, warm, and enthusiastic. According to Shoemaker and Tobia (2018), evaluating myself to the Anderson's teachers' personality categorization, I am the type of teacher who loves the profession, students and institution, and the community/society.
Events, experiences, and people who bring meaning to my life
Some life events and experiences have significantly shaped my personality identity development. Most of the events were experienced at childhood but have shaped who I am. One day when I was in grade three, the teacher was late to class, and I opted to start teaching the rest of the class. Surprisingly, the class was cooperative, and for about ten minutes, I engaged with the students on simple mathematical tasks. Little did I know that the teacher had arrived but was watching me how I was teaching the others. I thought the teacher would penalize me for my action, but instead, she commended me for portraying excellent teaching and class control skills. Because of the leadership skills I portrayed, the teacher recommended me to be elected as a class prefect. I was elected as a perfect, and I further developed my caring and assisting skills for all students. Since then, I have been in positions that entail offering assistance and guidance to others in life. At college education level, I was elected as a student leader and also coached others in carrier-related issues.

The person who was instrumental in creating meaning in my life and the development of my personality identity is my teacher at the elementary education level. She was the first to identify my leadership and teaching skills and natured me to become a leader and a teacher. After the incident, she found me teaching the class, she would ask me to demonstrate to the class how to handle some tasks, and this made me grow in confidence when addressing people. Contrary to at home where I was the youngest son, I was least heard at home since my parents, brother, and sister had branded me a noisemaker. My teacher used to encourage me to assist others in the school as it is the role of leaders to help by showing others the way. This made me so enthusiastic about serving others as I believed that I was the future leader who I am today.

My sense of purpose in life is aligned to providing leadership and assisting others towards attaining their optimal livelihood. My personality has shaped my sense of life, and I purpose to see people encouraged and inspired towards the attainment of greatness. Looking at my appearance and dressing style, I look like a leader and teacher. My inner feelings, thoughts, and fantasies are aligned towards offering encouragement and inspiration to others. To the community, I am passionate about having a society that is enabling people to attain greatness nor optimal living. My personality shapes my psychological well-being as I am ethical and ensure I adhere to societal moral standards. In multi-cultural settings, I am always respectful of cultural diversity. I portray high levels of confidence and boldness when I handle issues; I am also respectful of other people's ideas and opinions. I am also a resourceful person, and many people seek my opinion and help when handling issues that have an impact on the community. On spirituality, I strongly believe in God as the creator of the universe and life. I believe that his word is real and that human being was created to take care of the world by providing leadership. It is thus my responsibility to be a leader and to provide leadership to all others so that people can attain an optimal life.

My personality identity is aligned with Dorothy. L. Sayers (1893-1957) reading titled "why work." In her work, Dorothy posits that an individual's identity is shaped by the occupation one does (Dorothy, 1947). That is, one's identity is shaped by one's occupation. In my case, my identity is shaped by my daily deeds as a student, leader, and teacher. I believe that each one is alive for a specific reason, and the reason shall be accomplished through work. My belief is also in line with Dorothy. L. Sayer's argument in her work as she noted that people live to work. In my case, my reason for living is to offer leadership, encouragement, and inspire others towards the attainment of greatness. My reason for life has also made me be resourceful, responsible, determined, and passionate about guiding and assisting others towards the attainment of optimal living.
