The phrase "It is a jungle out there and it is no less true about spiritual life than any other aspect of life," has stood out and I would love to post it on social media and also hang it on my refrigerator door.
The issue of spirituality has been of importance to me. This is because according to the author, she argues that the views we have concerning spirituality, have been infected by some contaminants which are conceptual. Furthermore, this results in an immature relationship and confusion towards the principals of spirituality which are complicated.

First, the feeling of uncertainty, fear, anxiety, curiosity, confusion, doubt and caution tend to bubble up. This is because; we all want to know these infections, which are affecting our spiritual life and religion.
Again, there are curiosities, and questions that arise from the above scenario they include. What are these infections? How do these infections come to be? What are their effects of these infections? How do these infections affect our spirituality? How can these infections be controlled? In what way can these infections be cured?
My belief system was challenged by some factors; initially, my belief was founded on the argument that culture and spirituality go hand in hand. To my surprise, I realized that once the two are mixed, it will result in an end product of fantasy which enables people to assume and move away from suffering in a fast manner. Second, there is the issue of faux spirituality. In other words, it can be referred to like the way we as individuals, talk, dress trying to imitate a spiritual person. But in the real sense, this acts as a barrier that hinders us from spiritual realization.
In my life, society and the world at large, the issue of spiritually transmitted diseases can apply in jobs and churches. In addition to that, this might be of help since most people do not understand the issue of spiritual diseases. As a matter of fact, informing people on this matter starting from jobs to social congregations which are churches people would get a clear picture and understanding of spirituality and the hindrance to spirituality and their ways of approaching spiritual righteousness would change.
In conclusion, spirituality is an issue that must be considered by all with a lot of seriousness. Individuals need to be opening minded and keen if they want to notice this issue of spiritually transmitted diseases. Correspondingly, solutions to this problem must be formulated so as to reduce its occurrence and drastic effects. Lastly, to be able to address this problem, our mental models and beliefs system must be subject to changes.
