All sportsmen who play the game of baseball require an effective strength, speed, and conditioning programme to make them function optimally. Baseball coaches should take careful consideration in coming up with appropriate strength, speed, and conditioning programs for their teams and design it to be as specific to the game as possible. Better still, they need to consider factors such as organization, careful planning, and execution of the project and its impacts on the physical conditions of the athletes. For example, the Tulare Western baseball relies on the philosophy that requires them to give their athletes ability to achieve full potential by subjecting them to speed, strength, and conditioning program that meets various elements (Arzola, nd). Therefore, the programme also needs to consider the fact that baseball is highly demanding sport that needs various elements to keep the athletes healthy. Some other factors that coaches need to consider in the strength, speed and conditioning program for baseball include conditioning, ability, preparation, game, and performance.

William, Marilyn, and Christopher (2005) state that conditioning, ability, training, game, and performance are some of the most important elements that an effective baseball athlete should have to ensure effective speed, strength, and conditioning. These items are also effective for the success of the athletes in their ability to achieve strength, stamina, and winning advantage. Specifically, the authors report that the element of conditioning also promotes other factors such as strength, speed, agility, power, and endurance in an athlete. Similarly, Gregory and Travis (2010) state that these elements make it possible for a baseball player to achieve peak performances while taking part in the game. They need to follow these mechanisms during off and in season training session to remain at the top of their performances. Thus, conditioning helps the athletes to achieve stamina in whatever, they o hence maintain possible for them to perform at their best.

The element of agility encompasses factors such as technique, tactic, adjustment, and execution that an athlete needs to adopt while playing (Gregory & Travis, 2010) . As such, it is important for the coaches to consider these factors when creating their speed, strength, and conditioning programs to ensure that their players achieve the demands. Baseball provides situations that require athletes to be tactical, adopt different techniques, adjust to various situations in and out of the field. They should execute all the encounters they make in life in a way that makes it possible for them to remain healthy and avoid any possible injuries on the field and life (William, Marylin, & Christopher, 2005) . The element or preparation makes it possible for the baseball athletes to be mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared both on and off the pitch.

In fact, (Gregory & Travis, 2010) stated that the first evidence shows that physical activity may positively affect anxiety, stress, depression, well-being, energy, fatigue, sleep, self-esteem, and cognitive performance, and it can be an effective adjuvant to traditional interventions used in counselling, clinical psychology, or psychiatry. The aspect or preparedness also make it possible for the athletes to achieve effective mental, physical, and emotional health and make them be able to deal with physical, mental, and emotional stress factors that they may encounter effectively.

The element of the game requires that the athletes be ready to succeed in their games, the element also ensures that they are consistent in the way they take their daily exercise to help them make it through the season. It is important for the coaches and the club members to ensure that their strength, speed, and conditioning program also make it possible for the athletes to be able o concentrate on the games both in and off the season with the aim of performing highly. In fact, Arzola (nd) states that they believe that most of the athletes are achieving peak performances in their various areas due to the programs they have been put through over the years. Similarly, studies show that since baseball is a demanding game, the coaches need to consider the elements of effective performance in an out of the field. Effective performance must go hand in hand with proper exercised that promotes speed and agility. This is because the game of baseball requires the players to engage in some agile actions with the aim of gaining stamina for the sport. The coaches must aim to use baseball to show the men how to become better people both in and out of the field. Thus, it is not only considered a profession but also an important area that affects the general life of the athletes.

The coaches usually rely on the concept of periodization to predict the future performance of their athletes based on the evaluation of previous performances. Using this concept make it possible for the leaders to know whether their athletes are conditioned enough to perform effectively during the current other ongoing games. They have to consider the mental and physical health of the players to evaluate their abilities to register better and remarkable performances (Arzola, nd) . Poor previous performances may also demoralize athletes taking baseball and other sports. As such, the coaches need to come up with an effective speed, strength, and conditioning program that touch all the dimensions of the athlete to ensure optimal performance. The program will also make the players better men both on the pitch and when dealing with other personal and family issue hence not only creating good players but also effective future leaders in the field.
