Of the top 10 Dos and Don'ts, the most challenging one for me is making the right first impression. The first impression is vital because observers make conclusions about an individual as they appear, even before they utter a word. It means to create the right first impression, and I must factor in what to wear, the kind of shoes, how my hair looks. I must ensure an image that both fits the business environment and organizational culture. This bit was especially challenging for me because I know that it plays a significant role in determining whether business goes well or not.
It would be essential to improve this area and others primarily related to communication for effective business performance. Improving the first impression means creating a long-lasting perception that will do the business. If I ensure that people see the best version of me the first time, I will be making positive communication, which is effective (Price, 2014). On the other hand, improving communication increases productivity in a business through healthy relationships, better understanding, teamwork, and client satisfaction. Improving my communication will ensure I am well understood. Furthermore, for business communication to be effective, I have to learn to listen as much as I speak. I will improve in communication fluency and skills, and it is essential to prevent lack of productivity, failure, and losses.

Successful or effective business communication fosters productivity in an organization. It creates a positive working atmosphere based on positive energy and relationships built on understanding (Radovic, 2018). It also promotes business innovation because people can merge ideas and collectively develop helpful solutions for all business problems. In turn, it will also increase customer satisfaction, which then translates to increased profitability, and these also the significant reasons for which businesses operate.
