Dusan Makevejev has clearly directed the movie to a point that no synopsis with a significance can do the movie a justice (Sweet). However, the art of this movie significantly boils down the hearts of many “radicle” students on their worst behaviors on a camera that results to such a piece of artistic work of art. The movie is a psycho-sexual “comedy,” which seeks to portray different shattered taboos within the society.

Review

The film is thrown into the air on a live TV with a couple of women contesting for a Miss world title. In addition to this, the luckiest winner also gets to marry the man of her dreams, a Texas man who is an oil billionaire (played by John Vernon). Through this, the women are set for the competition with each getting an opportunity to portray her diligent physical appearance to the host as well to the doctor who in this case is bequeathed with a mandate to examine the ladies.

Before the competition kicks on, the host introduces a world’s famous gynecologist as “Dr. Metinger, Brilliant master of deep insights….and even deeper insights. Innovative explorer of the abysses of the human body and souls,” through this, the host explicitly portray the awaiting task ahead of the famous gynecologist. Furthermore, the host also brings out his intelligence and experience of the doctor’s proficiency.

Competition

The long-awaited competition swings into action shortly after the introduction of the doctor who struggles to enter the show on a wheeled bicycle, the audience in the background claps, and giggling whispers from the male audience are heard. The women swing into action one after the other; the doctor gets ready for the task as he gets some assistance from the host. The drama unfolds its self shortly after Miss southern Rhodesia storms into the stage; her violent acts disrupt the show before she attacks the old doctor and the host in the show. She uses her might swing the doctor in the air like a small child I the arms of a mother.

In addition to the above, the drama never gets to seize when Miss Congo, gets her dramatic appearance as well with her luxurious exhibitions. Slows and carefully swinging her hips from one direction to the other she makes her way to the chair guided by the host to the doctor’s chair. She seats and widely pulls her legs wide open to give the doctor a tranquil moment to carry out the examination. However, this does not happen as the doctor planed, the black exhibitionist woman, rubs the doctor’s beards with her legs in a seductive manner.

Through this, the director depicts how Miss Congo tries to find favor from the old doctor to rule in her support. Finally, the competition is wrapped up by the final contestant Miss Canada (Carole Laure), she walks to the examination chair with no dramatic movements, where the doctor carries out thorough examination on her privates that radiates with a golden glow. As a result, this earns her the title and an opportunity to marry the man of her dreams, the oil billionaire.

Through this parcel, the director portrays the vulgarities in the past and how it has been adopted to contribute its shares to the modern-day reality TV. Through this, the crude competition is transformed into a dramatic pause that are left in the hands of the mass public to judge.

The love boat

On the other side, the director tries to shift our gaze from the dramatic scene of competition to a new epic experience on a love boat. The boat sails down along a canal, where a silly folk repeatedly turns up, again and again, to see if he can win a lady that he had spotted on standing on the deck of the boats. As the fast appearance was never enough for him the guy makes a move and optional choice to follow the boat all along the canal before taking a piss along the river that will earn him his struggle to the boat.

The director chose to use a mid-70s model boat in the scene with a floating gigantic Karl Marx’s sculpture head mounted on its bow. The boat is highly colorful with different cultural colors, where it is even cumbersome to precisely figure out which is the correct color of the sailing object.

Miss World in her new marriage

On the other hand, Miss World, who in this case is married to the Texas tycoon, she is taken for a helicopter tour around the Niagara Falls as well as a new graveyard where the billionaire shouts to her on spotting it “My empire.”

Finally, when they arrived at the estate, the billionaire man introduces her as “the lady of the house,” through this, the directory portrays that Miss Canada is now officially married to the billionaire man. However, Miss World seems to be a bit uncomfortable during the night especially when the cowboy gets ready to have sex with his newly married wife. In this case, the directory ties to portrays the luxury the billionaire man has to the extent of even have a gigantic golden penis, symbolizing the wealth and commitment he will have to his female partner.

On the same token. Miss world profoundly regrets marrying the billionaire; she is taken to a strange room that it is situated at a milk tower by Jeremiah. In the beginning, they have sexy fun together before the camera gets to focus on Jeremiah’s face. However, this is not clear to tell if the man is having a problem with his heart condition or he is having a good time. The director deliberately chose to have the scene in that manner to source out different ideas from the audience about what it is taking place in the view. After a short period of what seems to be an orgasm done by Jerimiah, he knocked miss world unconscious and smuggled to Paris in a suitcase.

Losing her virginity

Shortly after Miss world reaches Paris, she had sex with El Macho, where she even ends up losing her virginity to the new strange man. She demonstrates her broken hymen, by breaking eggs on her head.

Conclusion

Throughout the film, the director apparently portrays the role of women in the society and how inhuman their male counterparts use them. In addition to the above, the women are also depicted as submissive “objects” to the male counterparts.
