Daft (2015), mentions six elements of leadership which are followers, shared purpose, personal responsibility and integrity, influence, intention and change. These elements are highly interlinked and so interdependent on each other that a leader should be able to operate to be efficiently in all six in order to be effective (Daft, 2018). A leader is considered to be leading because of the existence of followers thereby making them a crucial element. It is through influence that the leaders are able to ensure that the followers work towards a shared and defined purpose. Leaders define the shared purpose in the mission and vision of the organization. Intention as a component of leadership refers to the willingness of leaders to step into and execute the role (Daft, 2018). Personal responsibility and integrity are requirements for all leaders for them to inspire their followers by setting an example. All leaders must also lead and navigate through situations that need change.
The leaders self insight indicates that I possess logical-mathematical, verbal-linguistic and intrapersonal intelligence. These are therefore the main ways in which I learn (Daft, 2018). My leadership potential based on the same test culminated to an equal number of mostly true answers for both odd and even numbered questions. This suggests that I possess both leadership and managerial qualities.

In my leadership potential evaluation, I learnt that I would rather work on problems solutions alone other than involving others. I also realized that I would give credit to people for their work and would also focus on motivating them towards a higher purpose (Daft, 2018). I would also focus on the organizations higher purpose.
In the learning style test, I learnt that my ease in writing and communicating gives me verbal-linguistic intelligence. My focus on self development and my tendency to meditate indicates a possession of intrapersonal intelligence (Daft, 2018). I also tend to solve mathematical and logical problems.
