One primarily team function that can be enhanced is communication. Thus, this paper will seek to explain the contribution of the nursing team in inter-professional collaboration from the perspective of iCare components.
Compassion
Compassion is identified and understood as the course of being empathetic towards patients in consideration of their health conditions. In essence, a nursing action that can effectively show compassion is showing emotional support towards patients by constantly checking on them and offering supportive emotional insights.
