My name is Taniyah Lockwood, and my career goal is to establish a school for grades k-12. While growing my career as a teacher, I have realized that many schools in my areas are overcrowded. As a result, I have developed a vision of bringing the necessary change in creating comfortable learning environments. My school will be different in the sense that it will be designed for kids with untapped potential in grades k through 12. Besides, the school will serve as a model for dynamic teaching.
Having a great idea is not enough to build a great school. The key is to ensure that the center is organized properly. I will achieve this by hiring teams of talented individuals and organizing them in ways that truly allows them to shine. In essence, my school will be built based on the matrix organizational structure. Aligning my employees around such a flat structure would remove gridlocks, improve efficiency, speed up the decision-making process and eliminate conflicting priorities.

I will plan lessons for each week by detailing the specific content and activities that I intend to teach during a particular week. Usually, this will include four main things; Lesson objectives, instruction delivery procedures, student assessment methods, and student groupings.
As a school owner, I will have many different teaching aspects to manage. Besides planning lessons and ensuring the center is organized, I must maintain good records. The secret to maintaining accurate and good records is to know exactly what I need to record. This includes separating personal and work-related records.
Direct and clear communication is the key to success today. I will work on this by articulating words clearly and using the right words at the right time. When engaging in direct conversations, I will use simple and active language to ensure that we are all on the same page. Proper communication is two-way; I must also learn to listen to others.
Team spirit is based on the school’s culture. By encouraging honest and open communication and employee interaction, the center will be better placed to have good teamwork among its staff.
I will learn about and use all available resources by searching for information that would help me to do whatever I want to do. The most important thing is to identify what sort of information I need and focus on the search. I will focus on my search by using targeted keywords.
