I feel honored to be part of students graduating this year August class of MS Healthcare Informatics. The joy of completing school and joining the workforce is overwhelming. The modern technology has expanded the employment industry, thus offering jobs to many skilled graduates. I chose to pursue a health course combined with technology out of love for technology and desire to help others. Therefore, I enrolled in the program at the University of San Diego in pursuit of my dreams. Having completed a bachelor's degree in Human Services, I had no previous knowledge of health education and policies.
During the course learning, I gained skills that include analytical, strategic planning, customer service, leadership & management, as well as empathy. I think I am fully prepared to serve and help others in the healthcare industry. HCI (Healthcare Informatics) program has taught me management skills. I have learned that medical care professionals under HCI, have a duty to ensure the privacy of the information of patients according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The HCI program has also made me understand the importance of accountability when there is a breach of a client’s information. I have also gained skills on cyber threats, and mitigation strategies hence know about responding to cyber-attacks within the hospital.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
I also acquired transformational leadership skills in that quality of care should never be compromised at all cost. It is also essential for leaders should motivate their teammates to ensure efficiency throughout their workforce. I am confident that the knowledge I have acquired throughout this program will ensure my success in the medical care industry. After graduating, I aspire to be an application analyst in the healthcare industry to apply my skills in the field. I believe and hope that my contributions in this industry will impact lives positively.
